Yeah, I got a lady friend who's always been politically liberal (with a refreshing streak of cynicism. She calls MLK Day "PC Day" and refers to unsafe neighborhoods as "multicultural" {as in "You shouldn't park in that neighborhood. It's very 'multi-cultural.'}) She has a lot of gay friends... but the transgender ordinance in Montgomery County, where she lives, freaks her out because she has two young children and doesn't want them using the bathroom with freaky perverts.

Children often pretend to be things that they aren't, and in a less enlightened age, were disabused of the notion.

If this happened in my school district, I would tell my child what a horrible abomination it is and that we aren't in a position to enable sin by "respecting" it. They'd probably be accused of 'bullying' for saying that this is perverse. Then I would have to pull them out and home school, I suppose. But I would still have to pay taxes to support this. Oh Wait, we do! as all taxes are pulled and fungible.

How the heck does one send their child to that school and expect them to take this lesson without infringing on their own core values? Absurd!

I am gay and I think all this transgender stuff is crazy. If a person is truly transgender [although I am not sure what the definition of that is] then they should have a sex change operation and then the bathroomn issue is resolved.

Issues of sexual orientation are biological and scientific NOT political or religious. Politics and religion have nothing to do with someone being born with an homosexual sexual orienation

If there are people who are born in the wrong body as far as their gender goes - this is an issue for scientists and doctors - not poilticians or religious leaders.

Gay relationships need legal recognition and protection - otherwise don't complain if a society's gay population is less than monogamous and stable in their relationships.

The term "transsexual" is the term used to describe a person that has had a sex change, "transvestite" is the term used to describe people that dress like the opposite sex, and "transgendered" is a term used to describe people who's assigned gender does not match the gender they identify with. I guess it turns out that bigots are the ignorant one's after all.

I am a nine year old girl. I think I'm a dog, because I like to roll in the grass, play ball and have my tummy rubbed. I also think I'm a dog because I love the dog next door and he likes to... when I get on my hands and knees to play jacks.

I want to attend a special school with dogs, where I can learn to all kinds of doggy stuff. I also want my very own collar, chew toys and dog house to sleep in. Oh yeah.. my mommy and daddy are very supportive. I think it's because my mommy is a bitch and my father likes to howl when he @#@#^ her!
