Moonbats Weep for Shot Terrorist

Posted by Dave Blount at February 5, 2008 12:05 PM

After a suicide bomber killed a woman and injured ten, Israeli police shot his accomplice before he could blow himself up too, thus averting even more senseless mayhem. Moonbats are enraged — at the police. Below are a few comments they left regarding this story at Mark/IL:

[…]this goes against ALL international human rights law. And please don't justify the shooting of this person by claiming him to be a suicide bomber, that is the kind of thinking that sends the Palestinians and Israelis hurling downwards in a spiral of violence.
There is never justification for shooting a helpless person, whether they are a suicide bomber or otherwise. The policeman is NOT a hero he is a despicable human being and has lowered himself to the level of those he would despatch "justice" to. Have you never heard of civil liberties?
Extremism comes in all forms - especially when the govt. starts ignoring civil liberties.
When you start throwing out liberty in the name of safety/security, you no longer have a society worth defending.

Liberals want each bite of food we put in our mouths regulated by the government. They endorse extremes of totalitarian control undreamt of by fascists or communists, in the name of the fictitious global warming crisis. They have no problem with campus speech codes or the anti-Constitutional abomination known as McCain–Feingold. They don't even object to unborn children being denied their right to life. But if one of their beloved Islamic terrorists is shot before he can blow up some bystanders, suddenly civil liberties are precious.

Fortunately most police and security officers will protect the innocent from terrorists, even if it means incurring the righteous wrath of the Left. If only we could say the same of politicians.
