From abortion-friendly Britain:
Surrogate mothers could be given up to £15,000 of Health Service money to have children for gay couples, it emerged yesterday.
One of the justifications for abortion is that it would be better to be killed in the womb than start off life on the wrong foot. But being raised fatherless sounds like a minor inconvenience compared to being raised by homosexuals, a situation that would put normal development out of the question.
Including the in vitro fertilization, the total expense for creating a baby for homosexuals to play with could be around £30,000 — or $59,000. If anything goes wrong, the surrogates could claim damages, making the potential cost to taxpayers almost infinite.
So many abortions are performed in Britain that as many as 50 babies a year reportedly survive the attempt to kill them.
But soon the depravity may be taken further still:
[S]cientists at Newcastle University have applied for permission to turn female bone marrow into sperm, which could remove the need for men to create life.
The technology, already pioneered in mice, would allow lesbian couples to have children that were biologically their own.
Gay men could follow suit by using the technique to make eggs from their bone marrow.
This should be the part where the villagers show up with pitchforks and torches to put a stop to the blasphemy.

Exactly right, James ... in the UK, they are taking money away from health care for the eldery, and shoveling it inti baby-making for homosexual couples. It would all be amusingly twisted in a Twilight Zone kind of "here's a science fiction concept to scare you" way, if it wasn't all 100 % true and happening right now.
It raises the question: what is a caricature of a caricature called?

I've never heard of the bone marrow into eggs and sperm thing before. It sounds ghastly.
When if produces mutants with terrible health problems I'm sure it won't be the gay couple taking care of them.

What about the rejected female children? Will every same-sex couple be allowed to choose? What if same-sex match-ups turn out to be out of balance?

Well, if the mutuant is Moslem or gay, he/she/it will be in good shape with the UK's health system, and can sue the state for mindcrimes too.
If it's old, fat, or Christian, it will be aborted, up to the age of 35.

I'd be interested to know how the hell you turn bone marrow into sperm (I presume it's bone marrow from a male, at least; kinda hard to turn female DNA into male sex chromasomes, it would seem to me). Sounds like we're just now catching up to "1984" -- surely is a Brave New World (for good or for bad)!
