France Develops Moonbat Alternative to Martial Arts

The Chinese have kung fu, the Japanese have judo, the Koreans have tae kwon do — and the French have parkour. Wikipedia explains:

Founded by David Belle in France, parkour focuses on practicing efficient movements to develop one's body and mind to be able to overcome obstacles in an emergency. It may also be a form of entertainment or pastime.
Parkour is a physical activity which is difficult to categorize. It is not an extreme sport, but an art or discipline that resembles self-defense in the martial arts. According to David Belle, "the physical aspect of parkour is getting over all the obstacles in your path as you would in an emergency. You want to move in such a way, with any movement, as to help you gain the most ground on someone or something, whether escaping from it or chasing toward it." Thus, when faced with a hostile confrontation with a person, one will be able to speak, fight, or flee. As martial arts are a form of training for the fight, parkour is a form of training for the flight.

In other words, it's a martial art in tune with the maxim, Those who'd rather run away, live to cower another day.

The French had developed "Savate", also called "French Foot Fighting".
Looking back on history, it would seem that France hasn't really developed well as a republic. Maybe Napolian was right to return to France to a monachy.

As little as the Frogs bathe that foot fighting thing may have some merit.

Unfortunately, instead of teaching the French how to buck up, everyone else seems to be following their example... Socialism, surrendercracy, dhimmitude. Especially Britain.

America still has a chance, as long as Shrillary never takes office 2008!
