Clintonista: Comply with Socialized Medicine or Incur an "Outcome"
Liberals know that if they used accurate language to describe what they stand for, no one would vote for them. So they have become masters of euphemism. Aborting babies becomes "choice". Surrendering to terrorists becomes "redeployment" or "bringing the troops home." Likewise, a Shrillary flunky describes the consequences of not complying with her socialized medicine scheme not as punishment, but as "an outcome."
Via NewsBusters, here's Tucker Carlson of PMSNBC interviewing Hitlery's henchwoman Kiki McLean:
Carlson: [W]hat if people don't, don't obey?
McLean: […quack quack quack…]
Carlson: [H]ow are you going to punish the recalcitrant people who don't want to go along with her master plan?
McLean: […squawk squawk squawk…]
Carlson: [S]he's not talking about the stick, the punishment for not going along with her vision of the Brave New World.
McLean: The reality is, that we're going to have to bring everybody into the plan, and there's going to have to be —
Carlson: Punishment.
McLean: Outcomes. There's going to have to be an outcome for people who don't participate because it all affects us. Remember, we are a community that lives here.
Carlson [bursting into laughter]: I love that: an "outcome"!
McLean: There has to be an outcome.
Carlson: Is that what you call it when you spank a child: this is the "outcome"?
McLean: I don't spank my children.
Of course not — discipline can lead to a sense of responsibility, which leads in turn to loathing the Democrat Party. As for the rest of us: fall in line or suffer the "outcome."

On a tip from Cheetah.

Funny thing: "aborting" is also arguably a euphemism. They start piling euphemism upon euphemism so that the last generation's term become accepted.

Jimbo, that article reminds me of what the "conservative" philosopher Roger Scruton has said about his suggested term "oikophobe", which he's coined to describe the left's pathological hatred of their own society (anti-westernism, anti-capitalism, anti-freedomism, anti-everythingism). He's not a psychologist and doesn't claim to be one but it seems to him that leftism is a kind of retarded adolescence. The adolescent desire to "rebel" against home and family, to reject the values of it in a search for self, kind of gets stuck in the on position. They're people who never grow up, a kind of Peter Panism.
It doesn't seem too crazy to note that the drivers of the nanny state (and I hate that term, since nannies are generally well intentioned people doing a positive job, while statists are anything but that, it's too benign a term) are in education and academia. They're people who've never left school, stayed forever in that quasi-adolescent environment. This is probably a significant driver of the statist pathological mindset. People in school are used to the idea that somebody else will run their lives, that their will be a rigid rule set, that somebody else will pay for it all. In a sense, they're trying to make the whole world like school. A world not wherein people achieve for themselves and make their own decisions, but a world where people are awarded gold stars by their wise teachers for achieving programmed goals and obeying the rules.
We're governed by elderly children.

How about an "outcome" for the terrorists in Gitmo?

Remember -- if you're walking down the street one day, and here comes Hillary, stop, stand at attention, feet together, raise your right arm, palm down, and say (preferably, shout): "Seig, Heil!"
If Hills deigns to speak to you, be certain not to speak unless first spoken to, then conclude each response to Her Enormity with the words: "Ja, Mein Fuehrer!"
That way, you will be permitted to keep your head upon your shoulders [wouldn't want a bad "outcome" now, would we?].

semantics from the left?
say it ain't so!

What Ian said makes a lot of sense.
The boomers represent the most unrealist, self-centered and entitled generation the world had yet seen when they came of age. That is also the time when attending collegew became nore common (previosly it was only the domain of the wealthy or untelligent.)Then, they raised their children to be even worse.
The Dems want universal college education so that they can further indoctornate keep everyone in this eternal adolescence.
Many people who get college degrees don't actually use them in the workforce. Which makes the years spent in college, when they could been better spent earning money, learning a trade ( or for women they are some of the best years to have babies) a waste of time and money. We need more plumbersa in society than English teachers.

What about deliberately revealing the identity of a CIA employee who is working on WMDs in the middle east.
Conservatives spinmasters have actually labelled that act of treason by VP Cheney as something patriotic.

Except that she wasn't covert, hadn't been covert for several years, and her identity was given to the press by liberal State Department hack Richard Armitage, not Dick Cheney.
You must be the "factchecker" for The New Republic. Good job on that Scott Thomas Beauchamp thing.

Remember,
This creature is a Socialist/Stalinist pig.
If elected President, she becomes Socialist/Stalinist Queen Pig. A Queen Pig that can wave her wand with a democrat Congress.
Are you glad to see me, or is that pork chops in your purse?

Gotta love how libturds are so manipulated by the press. It wasn't the government who exposed that CIA whore...it was the PRESS! Then these so called journalists have the temerity to "shame" the Bush administration for "leaking" her name to THEM!?! The press didn't have to expose her, they chose to.

Too true; aborting is simply a synonym for cancelling, but what what the pro-murder-ers don't want to say is that what's being cancelled is a human being.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, especially the comment about women. You can blame the feminists for that one. They've been lying to young women saying that they can delay marriage and children just like their male counterparts can, which is of course BS. If women married early like they're supposed to, we wouldn't be hearing about "baby rabies" or "biological clocks."

On the brightside, if elected, her brutal, boorish, narcissistic drive for power will be quickly exposed and support for this totalitarian nonsense will crumble.
Arthur,
I try to tell every young woman I know that :) Don't follow the man hating feminist brownshirts down the road to childless spinsterhood for the sake of a (probably unfulfilling) "career". Their shaming tactics are powerful and prevelant at modern universities. They do more harm to young women than any so-called "oppressive" man ever could.
