Church of England Donating Fortune to Primarily Muslim Worship Center

Bad enough that the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams shamelessly panders to Muslims by siding with terrorists against America and Israel, and declaring sharia in England to be "unavoidable." Now the Church of England is donating £250,000 to a "multi-faith building" that will reserve the largest amount of its worship space for Muslims.

Lesley Scordellis, lead fundraiser for the centre and development manager at Surrey University, defended the Muslim advantage in the space allocation.
"It isn't about giving greater provision for Muslims, it is about likely numbers using it. We certainly have a strong demand for worship space from the Muslim community," she said.

Could the greater demand for worship space by Muslims have anything to do with Christianity dying in England as a result of it having been subverted by unhinged leftists? Church bureauweenies are actually taking money donated by the faithful and using it to advance Islam, a demonic cult devoted to Christendom's destruction. Moonbattery has corrupted and deranged the Church of England so profoundly, the entire denomination ought to be deconsecrated.

Every time I see this idiot Rowan Williams I'm reminded of a classic liberal professor at pretty much any college or university in the nation, teaching whatever (English Lit, Calculus, PolySci), whose main job is of course the indoctrination of "skulls full of mush" (to use Rush's phrase) into Liberal Theology, the be-all, end-all. Whether the "students" (brainwashees in reality) actually learn any English Lit, etc., is irrelevant.

Gotta admit, it's time for the Anglican Church to start all over again and rid itself of Williams and his seditious ilk.

This Williams character is no different than a suicidal moron intent on taking as many people with him as possible. He's not happy killing just himself - he's too selfish.

The Church of England would be better off with Rowan Atkinson running it.

I agree with you James.

Mr. Bean would be better than Mr. Beanless.

FWIU, only the Queen has the authority to sack that defeatist twit. However, the last two firings of Archbishops of Canterbury of which I am aware - Becket and Wolseley - did not go too smoothly.

Sounds like they are paying tribute demanded by Muslims in return for peace.

That is despicable, that money which faithful Christians donated to the church will go to fund this project intended to give preferential treatment to Muslims.

"That is despicable, that money which faithful Christians donated to the church will go to fund this project intended to give preferential treatment to Muslims."

I'm afraid I'd have to agree with you on that one.

Every picture of this moron shows him with a self-satisfied, up-yours, smart-ass look on his ugly mug.

And he is supposed to be the head of a Christian church?

WTF is up with that?

England is swirling down the toilet.

Krushchev wasn't too far off when he said, "the capitalist will sell us the rope we will use to hang him."

As it turns out, the socialist moonbat will give the Islamist the sword to chop his head off with... usually at taxpayer expense.

Jeeez....even hashfan is on board with this one. That tells you something!!!

Just as soon as they put around a collection plate in the mosques to raise money to build Christian or Jewish worship centers, I will cease having a problem with this.

More fun from England, the land of battle-hardened Celts, medieval knights, Nelson and Churchill:

UK govt: Parents, you are not doing a good job raising children for the state, so we need some new rules. You are not allowed to have video games in your children's bedrooms anymore. Oh, and you will have to sign a Parenting Contract if your teenagers are caught drinking. And, we will inspect their lunch boxes at school; if you include any junk food, we will send you a nasty letter.

"Racism is fun. can I join?"

Parker, you are obviously talking about the MUSLIMS because THEY re the ones who demand concessions and HATE everybody who is not like them. CHRISTIANS are the ones who compromise and are tolerant.
If I'm wrong about who you are talking about, then you need a hefty dose of REALITY to wake you up. That is, unless you are a freedom-hating muslim, then just keep spreading your propiganda untill it's your turn to start murdering children.

True Christians have known for decades that the church age is dead. The real church exists within oneself, not some institution or building. The only "living" churches that remain are small independent ones and bible studies held within homes where any $$ used benefits people who've found themselves in dire straits or in helping folks with other needs. The mainstream churches are death traps. Have never wasted time or money on them. Am not on their rolls and they have no influence on me. Sure hope the parishioners of these satanic strongholds learn from these experiences and kick the dust off their feet on their way out the door.

I beg to differ. Churches that maintain the gospel and keep the teaching of Christ as their center are going just fine. My church, for example, as well as the evangelicals and pentecostals.

The churches that are dying are the ones who have replaced Jesus Christ with Political Correctness as their guiding doctrine. That is, churches who have succumbed to moonbattery. Most of the mainline denominations are meeting this fate. I left the Methodist church when it became more about Marx than about Jesus.

"Jeeez....even hashfan is on board with this one."

Only because I oppose ecumenism.

Such efforts are hypocritical because any child can recognize all religions are after each other's throats.

Your collection money/tithes should go to supporting the efforts and good works of your own, no one else, and IMHO this efforts should be concentrated, if not totally dedicated to the wellbeing of those in your own faith community.

"Such efforts are hypocritical because any child can recognize all religions are after each other's throats."

Isn't that politically correct but ultimately false?

I don't see Christians at Jews throats. I don't see Jews at Christians throats. If either of those two are "at the throats" of Moslems, I guess that would go into the endless abyss of arguing over who's responsible, so let's table that one. I don't see Shintos, Buddhists, or animists trying to kill anybody. I don't see Pagans blowing up buildings, nor do I see Zoroastrans strapping on suicide bombs, and I don't see Moonies putting C4 in their shoes and getting on planes, and wiccans seem like harmless people, and even Satanists seem to be stoned losers who are basically in need of some decent Internet porn to keep them busy. What I do see is supremacist Islam attempting to colonize and take over the planet, killing, maiming and destroying everything in its path on the road to the global caliphate. To refuse to see this in the name of a "we're all at each others' throats" ideology is itself ecumenism. And dishonest. And dangerous.

"I don't see Christians at Jews throats. I don't see Jews at Christians throats."

You wouldn't. You'd have to be willing to acknowledge reality, in order to recognize it.

Posted by: hashfanatic at February 24, 2008 4:03 PM

Beg to differ then. Many pentecostal/evangelical churches are all about the milk, but they offer no meat. Meat would drive off their congregants, most of whom are all about getting a spiritual high versus walking the walk. You're a mormon V the K and I know for a fact that there's only a thin veneer of "christianity" beneath the mormon religion. Somewhere beneath your false prophet's five books lay the cover page to the bible. Nothing more.

Posted by: fellowes at February 24, 2008 4:32 PM

"You wouldn't. You'd have to be willing to acknowledge reality, in order to recognize it."

What reality are you talking about? There has not been a Jewish attack on a Christian in, what, 2,000 years? There are some Christian extremists who are antisemetic, no doubt about that, but we all seem to live together pretty well. You could go to Europe and find some intense antisemitism by the native populations, but they are hardly Christian as much as post-modernist agnostics. No, I think you are wrong - we live in a golden age of good relations between Christians and Jews. The main challenge of our time is how to keep those good relations going when the inevitable showdown with Islam strains them to the breaking point, as is now happening with Le Pen and his type across the pond. Here in the US, I do not see what more one could want in terms of JudeoChristian cooperation.

Open the newspapers. Tell me what you read about the latest bombing, riot or insurgency in Chechnya, Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, India, Denmark, Thailand, Phillipines, Israel, Jordan... Wonder what they all have in common?

YES YOU ARE RIGHT - THE JEWS AND CHRISTIANS AND BUDDHISTS ARE KILLING ONE ANOTHAR!!!!

Hashpipe,

Is there Jew v. Christian violence problem I haven't noticed? The two groups tend to get along pretty well as far as I can tell.

Islamic literalists, atheistic Communists, and secular-statist fascists have a strong track record of killing Jews in recent history. Christians - not so much.
