British Armed Forces Showing Signs of Neglect
The British preoccupation with growing the welfare state may be taking its toll in other areas. For example, the Army is running out of machine guns. Laments Tory MP and former Army officer Patrick Mercer:
Thank God the Army have still got their bayonets — it looks like they may be all they'll have left.
Meanwhile, the RAF has been forced to borrow planes from the USAF. Apparently some planes will even be flown by American pilots.
The Ministry of Defense is experiencing a "cash crisis." Too bad it doesn't have access to the $pound;13 billion a year handed out to layabouts.

They need to hand out money to the Muzzie immigrants so they can buy guns to take over the country and impose Sharia Law. Even the head of the Anglican Church is on board with this plan.

VDH makes a good point, by endorsing shariah, does the Archbishop also tacitly endorse honor killings, and the stoning and hanging of homosexuals?

Back in the '90s the Texas State Guard was disbanded for "being too military". The logic: they had borrowed RIFLES from the National Guard for target practice because they HAD NONE OF THEIR OWN.
The Texas govenor at the time CLAIMED that the reason was because the guard was "too expencive", but not only did they have no rifles and the guardsmen had to buy their own ammunition for the practice, but they had to buy their own UNIFORMS since the state only provivded:
1 PAIR Oxford shoes
1 PAIR combat boots
1 belt and buckle
1 garrison cap
1 overseas cap
1 tie
They also lacked vehicles and web gear.

Let the Anglican who will allow the stoning of gays cast the first stone! Or is it that Muslims get a pass from tolerance? Unfortunately, I think the answer to that is YES.

There seems to be a pattern here. Every one of our allies whose adopted one form or another of socialized medicine has seen their military fall apart at the seams or just gutted like a fish.
I know there's a pattern here, but I can't put my finger on it...
