It's already in effect here in Florida. My nieces HAD to do "volunteer" work or they wouldn't graduate. I told them that it was not volunteering, because they recieved "payment" in the form of a diploma and that it was also coersion.

What is funny / irony about this issue is the Liberals are trying to copy a very successful program in private schools.

Private schools that they despise because they do not have socialist control over the curriculum or views taught to the 'CHILDREN'.

In the successful private schools, which are a neccessity in CA and the San Francisco Bay area (because the public schools suck), even the parents have to provide x number of hours of committment, above the tuition.

It is ironic that liberals are trying to copy something they despise, though they are pushing it for totally different reasons.

The private schools do it because they do not have the huge tax base to suck the tit of, and this reduces overall cost for the parents and creates a better education team.

Liberals don’t want the parents involved because it’s harder to socialize and re-educate the ‘CHILDREN’ to absolute liberal values.

Liberals are pushing this additional control on to the ‘CHILDREN’ to ensure socializing success to create more liberals, since they do not procreate as fast as moderates and conservatives (statistically proven fact – why they need the illegal vote).

Yaaawn, this is old news it is already happening in Massachusetts were if you can't pay your property taxes well you can go to work for the government at less than minimum wage to pay off your debt, ever heard the term pound slaves? Or debtors prison? Or tenant farming?
