I like watching Bill Maher's show. I don't want you people to attack me, but his show is fun to watch, and no, I don't walk lockstep with him, duh.

Didn't Bill Maher say something to the effect that he would rather his father die than have a dog harmed to save him? With a simple inter-line reading one can deduce that Bill harbors a resentment or possibly a hatred of his father further alluding to the possibility of a not-so-positive childhood. Is Mr. Maher's cynical and depressing attitude the result of bad parenting?

I've learned long ago to try and disassociate myself from things that are negative as much as possible. Most liberals I know fit that category. Their goal is to argue, and once arguing, their goal is not to win an argument but to make you lose, and not even lose the main topic, but to continuously go off on tangents until they find a way to make their opponent lose. And they see everyone with a different world view as an opponent.

Their goals are to hurt and debase. And what's worse, their goals are also to bring out the bad in others, to make others angry. It takes a sick kind of human to want to bring others down to a lower level. The kind of person I strive to be is one who lifts others up. But liberals want everyone at the lowest possible common denominator, and anyone who thinks they're above the lowest, they target.

I'd encourage all of you to simply avoid the pointless posts by trolls, and remember why they're posting. Do they want to convince, or hurt?
