Arabs Push for Valentines Day Ban

While the West dislocates its softening spine, bending over backwards to display its acceptance of Islamic ways, Muslims don't show much interest in reciprocating. In Kuwait, a country that would not exist if the West hadn't rescued it from Saddam Hussein, a movement is underway to repress all public recognition of Valentine's Day.

Sniffs Kuwaiti MP Waleed Al-Tabtabae:

We want to discuss measures that should be taken by these ministries to prevent such alien events from impacting Kuwaiti society and spreading corruption among the Kuwaiti youth.

Given that multiculturalism is a one-way street, any fool could figure out where it's going to take us.

The Day of Love and the Religion of Peace don't mix.

Arabs Push for Valentines Day Bay You mean Ban.

If they want to ban it in Raghead Hills, Middle East - that's their right. I don't have a say-so there. When they want to ban it in Irish Highlands, USA - then I have a problem.

But I can already see it will be causing problems in public schools because someone could, at sometime in the future, be offended by a heart shape or by the whole "cupid" scenario. Best ban Valentines Day now to save a lot of future trouble with the future ruling Muslim class.

Jimbo, thanks for catching the typo. It's been a long day.

Yes. All that were not invited here must leave.

What bothers me about this is that the holiday isn't being forced on them, it's not like the evil U.S. forced them to pass a law requiring people to celebrate it. The people are doing it because they want to. Marketers are selling their Valentine wares in these stores because there's a demand.

Now comes the faithful leaders to once again tell them they cannot do something harmless they want to do.

Maybe we should call Febuary 14th "Arizona Statehood Day", or is that too "AMERICAN"?
