Why Fred

Alicia Colon lays out a straightforward case for Fred Thompson:

There probably has never been a clearer choice between the two major political parties. Democrats are pro-choice; for gay marriage; a repeal of the tax cuts; bigger government and want a withdrawal from Iraq. The Republican candidates other than Ron Paul on Iraq are adamantly opposed to all these positions. Yet according to Dick Morris, the Republican Party is fractured into three factions. The social conservatives are for Huckabee; the economic conservatives are for Romney and the national security crowd is for Giuliani. Oddly enough, Fred Thompson meets the criteria of all three blocs and sooner or later it's going to dawn on all these Republicans that they like Fred, too.

Values, the economy and our security are all too important to compromise. If there's going to be effective opposition to moonbattery, it needs to unite on all three.

Hear, hear. Wake up, people ... time is running out!

I think that if Fred can get the nomination, he will be unbeatable. If any other Republican gets the nomination, it will be a tough fight, despite the repulsiveness of whichever Democrat they are running against.

Has anybody considered or herd of Duncan Hunter? He's a much better choice than Fred, and he has, and will BUILD THE FENCE!!!!

Imagine a world with no more garbage shrines, no more rape trees, and no more border crossings by drug smugglers WITH the Mexican army.

VOTE DUNCAN HUNTER!!!!!

(Oh, and as an added bonus, we'll get to keep our guns and trans fats.)

Colon needs a colon-oscopy so she can start using her brain and think like an American for once.

Romney stands a chance; McCain and Huckleberry are eminently defeatable; Giuliani could beat the Beast, and would likely crush Obama (but he's going to be the VP nominee, if anything), and little Johnny the hypocritical Class Warrior is already "dead," he just don't know it yet.

Fred, while not perfect, would be great on the campaign trail, and would be admirable as our president (unlike anything the Dhimmis have to offer). The MSM hate him, not only for being a Conservative, but for speaking, substantively, in a manner (laconic, like himself) that can't be squashed into a 10-sec. soundbite.

Hunter would be great, bjd, but if Edwards is "deceased," I'm afraid Duncan is on life-support (primary-wise). His time may well come in four years, after the Jimmah-like first reign of terror known as "Mrs. (Two for the price of one!) Clinton's first term."

Vote Fred today, South Carolinians! And vote Fred thereafter, folks . . .

Do you believe Dead! will throw in the towel, if he fails to take South Carolina?

He's not polling as well there as I would have expected, and, even more interestingly, Rudy does not seem to be going over well at all, which may indicate his whole "Florida-only" trip may have been a complete bust.

As of this moment the battle is between Romney and McCain but it is still too early to say.
