Traitor Philip Agee Finally Dies

Former CIA agent Philip Agee, a hero to the cause of moonbattery, is dead. His 1975 book Inside the Company: CIA Diary not only sniveled about the alleged misdeeds of the agency as it attempted to defend democracy from communism throughout Latin America, but actually outed about 4,000 operatives. Since these included real covert agents, not just pencil-pushing bureauweenies like Valerie Plame, he deliberately risked their lives.

Agee had been lurking in Cuba, a moonbat's conception of paradise. After a major crackdown on pro-democracy Cubans in 2003, Agee had this to say in the state-controlled media:

To think that the dissidents were creating an independent, free civil society is absurd, for they were funded and controlled by a hostile foreign power and to that degree, which was total, they were not free or independent in the least.

By "hostile foreign power" he no doubt had in mind America, which is hated by moonbats for the same reason it is loved by everyone decent.

According to a high-ranking Cuban defector, Agee was paid $1 million for betraying his country. But apparently that isn't enough to buy quality healthcare on the island prison. He died following surgery for ulcers probably caused by having to live with himself.

what an asshat!

looks like he may have took advantage of the good old socialized medicine so readily available in cuba?

Please,
Can we send someone to the funeral just to make sure the son-of-a-bitch is really dead.

Posted by: Eneils Bailey at January 9, 2008 7:54 PM

I wish I could piss on his corpse.

Posted by: steve at January 9, 2008 8:17 PM

Woah, woah, the man may have done horrible things, but let's not act like liberals did when Falwell died.

Posted by: Alex at January 9, 2008 9:06 PM

I glad you are all excited about a man who exposed an agency that has killed some of the most brilliant people in history, such as Che, and introduced death squads that killed hundreds and thousands of so called "communists" or revolutionaries that were merely fighting for simple rights that dictators had denied them. You guys are smart....

Posted by: John at January 9, 2008 10:41 PM

Oh yes, sadly most of things he said in his report are true. It is unfortunate that a great country like this, that was born with a revolution would help dictators in latin american kill other brave revolutionaries. Che you are not forgotten.

Lemme guess, next you guys will find some way to defend the facists when they beat down the Spanish Revolutionaries.

Posted by: John at January 9, 2008 10:53 PM

Alex,
You can't compare Falwell and Agee.
Falwell's political and religious philosophy engendered hatred among the leftists and they reacted in their typically childish way.
Agee was a traitor who embraced our enemies and got Americans killed. He is beneath contempt. Celebrating his death is justified.

John,
Your hero, Che, was a coward and a murderer who took great delight in murdering children in front of their parents. He was utterly incompetent in everything he did, except cold blooded murder.
You should learn the truth about this monster you admire so much after you develop some critical thinking skills.
The Spanish Revolutionaries were Communists (notice the big C?). The Spanish civil war boiled down to 2 gangs of totalitarian thugs fighting for control. Neither side was good guys.

The CIA is rotten to the core. Someone has to to be the bearer of the bad news.

I realize you wingnuts prefer to live in a bubble of myth and illusion, but unfortunately, every once in awhile, someone confronts them with some truth and they hit the roof. Go watch some more TV..

Also, they get so upset here when someone insults the memory of religious nuts like Falwell, Reagan , etc...but here we have steve wishing he could "piss on a corpse". Here we have steve again talking about something callled "religious philosophy" If that's not an oxymoron, I don't know what is. You tell me, who are the sickos? You friggin hypocrites. Shame on you.

Looks like Agee would have probably died a lot sooner if he had stayed in the US.

Posted by: Anonymous at January 10, 2008 1:53 AM

If I believed in Hell, that son of a bitch would be there with the other liars and traitors. Good riddance.

Posted by: Brooklyn Red Leg at January 10, 2008 2:05 AM

So, John, why do you love and adore a psychopath who butchered entire families for the fun of it, established a system of death camps for political dissidents, and perpetuated a system that dooms millions to lives of deprivation and oppression.

Oh, that's right, because you're a moonbat.

I only wish the CIA did half the things moonbats think it does, instead of being what it actually is... an incompetent bureaucracy staffed by the inbred liberal spawn of ivy league leftists.

Posted by: V the K at January 10, 2008 3:14 AM

So Che was a psychopath for fighting in what he believes. (on a side note, those death were formed by CIA death squads, not Che, and Che did not butcher families or kill children for fun, the CIA did that part for him.) Isn't what this country was formed on?Fighting for what we believe. Why is it our business to stop those other people that are doing THE EXACT SAME THING that we did. You to crawl out of your hole where the only thing that exists is extremist right wing propaganda.

Oh and to Steve, your hypocracy is unbelievable, first you claim that the revolutionaries are communists then call them totalitarians, which is the exact opposite.Nice job numbnuts.

And finally to V thk K, you simply need to actually look up the CIA on neutral ground and in non biased reports. They were killers, that did nothing but help dictators stay in power.

Posted by: John at January 10, 2008 5:38 AM

And John, revolutionaries BECOME totalitarian AFTER they come to power - See Soviet Union, China, North Korea, Cuba, ect. And Venezuela is well on its way. Chavez wont make his next move until his grip on power is in real danger.

Posted by: Anonymous at January 10, 2008 5:55 AM

John, Che was a killer and did plenty of killing himself. Thats not to excuse what death squads trained by the CIA did, but you act like Che was just "fighting for what he believed in" and killed only in battle. LOL! Yeah right. Che even described how he loved the smell of blood and gun powder as he killed people.

I guess next you are going to explain how the CIA was worse than Stalin who killed over 20,000,000 people, Mao who killed millions more and Pol Pot who racked up a body count of at least 1,000,000? Id love to see that. What you define as "neutral ground" is leftist anti-american propaganda.

Yeah John, the hypocrisy of liberals is indeed astounding. If you think Cuba is such a great place - move there and speak out against the government imprisoning journalists and others - that way you can get a cell right next to them and get the full story - right before they drag you outside and put a bullet in your head for being a spy.

Supporting dictators during the cold war was a lesser of 2 evils. Same way supporting Musharraf in Pakistan is today. Would you rather have Muslim radical in charge of several dozen nuclear weapons or Musharraf? Knowing you would love to see Muslim radicals with nukes and to heck with the consequences.

"Crazy with fury I will stain my rifle red while slaughtering any enemy that falls in my hands! My nostrils dilate while savoring the acrid odor of gunpowder and blood. With the deaths of my enemies I prepare my being for the sacred fight and join the triumphant proletariat with a bestial howl!" - Che Guevara (John's Hero)

Posted by: V the K at January 10, 2008 7:01 AM

And why do leftists assume all the horror stories Agee told about the CIA are true, anyway? It's not like a lush life as the lapdog of a communist dictator isn't sufficient incentive for certain leftists to offer himself up as a propaganda mouthpiece for the dictator. A lot of leftists sell their souls for a lot less.

Posted by: V the K at January 10, 2008 7:09 AM

I agree with you John, and yes he did like to kill, i would to if i had seen half the stuff Che saw. The people he was fighting were straight up evil. And when you list those totalitarian countries, you seem to forget that they were the same way beforehand as well. Too bad we kill the people trying to stop it from happening. That's America for you.

Posted by: Mark at January 10, 2008 7:11 AM

Yeah, the America that kicked the Taliban out in Afghanistan and is fighting to keep them from taking it back is evil. Or do you leftists think that regimes that deny education to women and stone gays to death. Oh, wait, apparently you do.

A leftist will always cheer the tyrant who puts his boot on the neck of a dissident, so long as the tyrant claims the dissident has free health care and 90% literacy.

Posted by: V the K at January 10, 2008 7:18 AM

John,

"Oh and to Steve, your hypocracy is unbelievable, first you claim that the revolutionaries are communists then call them totalitarians, which is the exact opposite.Nice job numbnuts."

Your ignorance is monumental. It appears that you think communism promotes liberty. If you do you're a fool.
There has never been a Communist regime that wasn't highly repressive and blood soaked. It is inherent in the ideology.
Try reading something besides Marxist propaganda.

Che may have killed a few soldiers in combat but most of his killing was done after Castro seized power in Cuba. Che was in charge of setting up the reeducation camps and prisons for "counterrevolutionaries".
They were anyone who objected to the totalitarian regime that Che enforced.
Most of the people Che murdered were Cuban peasants who complained about what Che and Castro were doing. His favorite tactic for setting an example was if a man or woman complained he would kill one or more of their children in front of them. Remember, this was in Cuba after the revolution. The CIA was nowhere around.

Anonymous,
What's your definition of a religious nut? I'm guessing it's anyone who isn't an atheist.
You apparently don't even know what philosophy is.

John, is a "facist" somebody who prefers a pretty face? You anti-intellectual commies are amusing in your ignorance.

"They were killers, that did nothing but help dictators stay in power." -John

So you agree that Che was a dictator? That's who you admire? Who would you like to be the dictator of the US?

Posted by: baldeagle390 at January 10, 2008 11:55 AM

Leftist idiots who screeched hysterically at the harmless, so-called "outing" of Valerie Plame have nothing but praise for this slime mold that absolutely got real covert CIA operatives killed. The psychosis of liberalism is incurable and John proves it.

steve at January 9, 2008 11:32 PM

I agree with all you wrote, but I must correct one thing the spanish Nationalists were NOT communists:
The Spanish Nationalists were getting over-whelmed by the fashists and had to make a discision that would consolodate power and turn things around. They first offered control of the government to the largest group: the ANARCHISTS (Mind you, these were not the modern "anarchists", but REAL ones), but since they didn't believe in CENTRALISED government, they turned the offer down.
So the Spanish turned things over to the second largest group: the COMMUNISTS. The first thing the commies did upon taking power was to attack the anarchists and anyone else who didn't pledge undivided loyalty to communism. That's how Spain became Fashist.
And that's the sort of people John and the others have pledged BLIND LOYALTY to!

KHam,
I'm aware of what you said, but I wanted to condense it into a short paragraph. Once the Nationalists let the Communists in they took over and the whole thing degenerated into a Commie vs Fascist tug of war.
As leftists like John show us, if you stick a liberal you'll have fascist blood on your hands.

Posted by: steve at January 10, 2008 10:00 PM

RR,
One of my favorite pics of Che. There's another one I like even better that shows the bullet holes clearly.
Sorry, but I don't have a link to it.

Well soon enough Bush and Cheney will get to meet this "Traitor" to his country and attempted savior of the world. As I see it, he tried to get Americans to wake up to their own governments corruption. I personally wish he would have been more successful so we wouldn't have been misled by Dumbya and the CIA in to war with Iraq.

Posted by: sonny at January 11, 2008 11:10 AM

That's right you sunbats will only stand for corporate socialism and never humane social nets.

Posted by: sonny at January 11, 2008 11:11 AM

SONNY
Do you and John have the courage to man the barracades, or storm city hall IF the (glorious peoples') revolution comes, or will you hide in your room, shouting sloagans AFTER the shooting stops?
Be carefull COMRADES, commies tend to EXECUTE REVOLUTIONARY LEADERS and POTENTIAL LEADERS so that there will be no RIVALS for power!
