Moonbats Kill Karl Rove Commencement Address

When liberal fascism kills freedom, it will be by the death of 1,000 cuts. One cut was inflicted yesterday at the prestigious prep school Choate Rosemary Hall, where a commencement address by Karl Rove was nixed because leftist students didn't want to hear his mild opinions.

Some students planned to walk out of the ceremony. Others demanded that conspicuously unfunny but reliably liberal comedian Stephen Colbert give an alternate speech. After canceling Rove, headmaster Edward Shanahan bleated cravenly about outsiders who might disrupt the graduation.

Maybe Choate should follow the lead of UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz, Antioch College, Occidental College, Evergreen State College, et al. and have radical leftist and vicious convicted cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal give a recorded commencement. That way they wouldn't have to worry about any frightening disturbances.

Those who do not deserve freedom won't have it indefinitely.

Mumia Abu-Jamal, a less controversial commencement alternative.

What? I though Karl Roves mind control machine could force ANYONE into doing what he wants?

Stephen Colbert not funny??!! Just like George Clooney is a bad actor. Now I know this site has no credibility.

Oh come on...these are 21 and 22 yr old kids...you know stupid and naive

Should have let them walk out, then. It's a commencement address, not an indoctrination.

How many conservative students listen to liberal speakers and just deal with it? The administrator should be taken to task for being such a spineless ninny, letting these brats bully him into revoking the invitation.

Honestly, they should learn NOW that you can't always get your way in life. Suck it up and grow up.

Look at it another way: the LIBERAL students were denied their right to PROTEST Rove!
For shame, Choate Rosemary Hall!

Mumia spoke at my school, UC-Santa Cruz, and it was very inspiring. Mumia is an amazing journalist, and there is considerable evidence that he is innocent. Without a doubt, he was framed by police (ballistics manipulation, a fake "hospital confession," coerced witnesses, and suppression of evidence that a third person was there at the scene who fled before police arrived. Be sure and check out the Dec. 6 Today Show with Maureen Faulkner and Michael Smerconish, which spotlighted new crime scene photos that show police manipulating evidence:

Also, be sure and see this short slide show presentation of those explosive photos:

Justice for Mumia is justice for PO Daniel Faulkner and his family---let's get a new trial and find the real truth of what happened.

"Hans at January 29, 2008 12:23 PM"

You accuse the cops of making thngs up, but it NEVER occures to you that RADICALS do that?
I suppose you are refering to the four "witnesses" who were found TEN YEARS later? One was so far away that he couldn't even identify that there was a COP involved, one was a whore who admitted to being STONED at the time and the other two said that they came on the scene MINUTES AFTER the shots were fired.

You don't even get a "nice try".

Hans, if instead of Mumia, the first person you heard speak about that case were one of the family members of the victim, would you instead say:

The dead cop's family members spoke at my school, UC-Santa Cruz, and it was very inspiring. They are such loving people, and there is considerable evidence that Mumia is guilty.

I grew up in Philadelphia during the whole Mumia episode.

The guy is guilty as hell, and a complete and total asshole.

I am against the death penalty, but Mumia should never be the poster boy for the anti-death penalty movement. He is thorughly repulsive.

If you knew anything about the case, you'd know he is guilty with a capital G.

FRY MUMIA!

There's a fact sheet about Mumia's case and the evidence that proves his innocence here: http://partisandefense.org/pubs/articles/factsheet1231.html
