Moonbats Celebrate Death of Ann Coulter's Father

Ann Coulter recently published a moving piece honoring her father, who has passed away. As we've come to expect, empathetic liberals responded with hoots of derision.

At Huffington Post, Chris Kelly ridicules her eulogy sentence by sentence in an appallingly tasteless moonbat version of a fisking. Without any justification, he calls her father, whom he almost certainly did not know at all, an "asshole" whom children would "avoid out of instinct." He asserts that John Vincent Coulter lusted after his daughter, hated his wife and children, dressed as a woman, and now resides in hell. Being a progressive, Kelly is unable to refrain from comparing the man to Adolf Hitler. Mr. Coulter's funeral is described as "happy." A more despicable slandering of this honorable man's memory would be difficult to imagine.

But the moonbats infesting Democratic Underground gave it a shot. A few sample comments on his tragic passing:

Well, on the positive side, there's one less republican in the world.
No doubt he secretly wished his semen went onto the bed sheets instead of spawning that horrendous, awful thing known as Ann.
I'm sure God will have plenty of "counter arguments" for such intolerant filth as Coulter & ilk.
Sounds like good riddance to me. Too bad there wasn't a family plan.

No matter how low your opinion of the Nutroots Left, they will always find a way to lower it further.

Hated and feared to distraction by moonbats.

The left is deranged. Putting that much energy into hating people is just not healthy. Though I'm not sure what the word "hate" even means to the left. I think to them, "hate" just means "opposition to socialism."

Directing nasty remarks at a person in their time of grief, wishing violence and ill on people you don't like... that isn't hate? How sad it is. How sad.

Mental illness is rapidly spreading amongst the left.

Good ole Che - now a capitalist tool - hawking T-shirts, mugs and handbags to lefties for profit. How ironic.

Too bad the fascist state they only dream exists really doesn't. Imagine their horror if each of those commenters was dragged off to Gitmo.

These are the same people who argue that saying homosexual behavior is sinful is hatespeech and that opposing illegal immigration is racist.

Fact: Moonbats can say anything they want, no matter how evil or dispicable, as long as it furthers their cause. If you oppose them, you're a racist, sexist, bigot, homophope, fascist, et al.

Unfortunately, there are people on the right who stoop to that level. I'm guilty. But at least I can control myself.

Classic projectionism, smearing the Coulters with their own sins in order to alleviate their own guilt.

And what's all this God and hell stuff coming out of liberals' mouths? I thought they ridiculed that stuff and opposed all mention of religion.

The fact that Ann can trigger such vituperation from the left is a badge of honor and the true measure of her success. Only a true master of debate can so effortlessly spark the vein popping non-sequiturs and hypocrisy that is so typical of moonbats. Example: are not democrats the party that coined the sound-bite, or should I say "moon-bite", that "Hate is not a family value"?

Good bless Ann and her father.

Posted by: CharlieDontSurf at January 14, 2008 7:10 PM

Family in moonbattese means two lesbians killing their child for refusing to call one of them 'dad'.

Hi. I'm guessing at least a few of the readers here would say I'm a moonbat. Give me some credit, though, I try to be a smart moonbat.

In any case, I just thought I'd let you know that not EVERY person with left-of-center political leanings thought Kelly's article was funny or appropriate.

Despite my distaste for much of Ann Coulter's writing and opinions, I think Chris Kelly was a major prick for mocking her piece about Mr. Coulter.

If you have any interest in reading a "moonbat" commentary that isn't pro-Kelly...

Wow.

I can understand people having ugly thoughts such as this; probably most of us do from time to time. But what kind of self-absorbed, thoughtless, heartless pig proudly publishes their ugly thoughts on the web so as to reach the maximum possible audience?

What's more, it seems that nine out of ten commenters on the article are in hearty, back-slapping agreement with Mr. Kelly. They think it's hilarious.

Uh Oh. It looks like one of those assholes is trolling here.

Posted by: steve at January 14, 2008 9:24 PM

It's really cold to try to make political points off of someone has suffered a personal tragedy, no matter who they are, or what their views.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at January 14, 2008 9:33 PM

No, it's not, Jay.

Would you have warm things to say at the funeral of "Tokyo Rose"?

How about Hermann Goering?

How about Saddam Hussein?

Should I do a search back into time, to see what reverential whispers were heard from this crowd on THAT little episode?

No, Jay, Ann Coulter is not a sacred cow.

Well, she's not sacred, anyway....

God rot the bastard's soul for bringing such a greasy lowlife whore onto this planet.

I have no reverence for evil.

Posted by: hashfanatic at January 14, 2008 10:19 PM

assfanatic,
You compared Coulter to a traitor, an architect of genocide and a bloodthirsty tyrant. All she does is write essays ridiculing people who have made themselves ridiculous. If you think this is evil you're as stupid as you make yourself appear.
Your trolling shows what a small minded, moronic piece of trash you are.

Posted by: steve at January 15, 2008 12:54 AM

Hey hash, the depth of the hypocrisy of the posters here knows no limits. They rage at any insult to the Coulter family, claiming it's wrong and that she simply writes essays ridiculing people. In the next breath they insult you in the exact same way, simply for posting a counter opinion on a blog.

You should read the pure jubilation they express at the death of any left wing commentator, politician or subscriber. See what they have to say about the Kennedy family, for example. Read the comments wishing painful death and despair for people like Gore, Moore, or Clinton. Cindy Sheehan has been so deeply maligned and cursed simply for disagreeing with these clowns. Even though Sheehan has actually made a real personal sacrafice for the Bush empire. Something most of these wing nuts would never do. So much for respect. They "support our troops", but not the despair or pain of their families. Sickening. Death is immediately wished on any celebrity who does not tow their line of sheep like patriotism.

They get all high and mighty, as if they have couth or dignity when one of their own is insulted, as if they live on some higher moral plain. You have guys here dreaming of "pissing on the corpses" of dead left wing activists. Please...get off your high horses already.

Now I'm sure you'll see a lot of posts as to why it's OK to insult these people, but not the Coulter family.

Coulter along with guys like O'Reiley are very shrewd. They can't even possibly believe the absurditites they utter. But they realize their job is to create controversy, while making a name for themselves, and thus more money for themselves. They don't care about the issues. They realize that there is significant population in America that responds to ignorance and idiocy. They just want to capatilize on it.

Posted by: hashfanaticfan at January 15, 2008 2:48 AM

I notice Comrade Dingus doesn't provide any actual examples of people wishing death and despair on Sheehan, Moore, or Gore, but that's okay, being a leftist means you don't have to have proof, only "feelings."

Second, it's not like anybody here claims moral superiority based on superior compassion, tolerance, and understanding the way the left does. I think the way the left treats Ann Coulter's loss, Tony Snow's cancer, Laura Ingraham's cancer... shows that their moral superiority is a load. And the only defense our drug-addled Comrade Dingus can come up with it, "We on the left are just as vicious and petty as those on the right wing."

And third, yes, comparing a columnist to mass-murdering dictators shows what a complete idiot dingus is.

Posted by: V the K at January 15, 2008 5:24 AM

I don't really need to provide the examples, do I? They are literally everywhere on this blog. V the K, it's obvious that you have plenty of time on your hands to peruse the previous posts. And it's quite obvious that you read every post in every nook and crannie on this site. So don't get all "give me some examples" when you know damn well what I'm talking about. You've even got fellow right wing posters admitting they are guilty of this just above this comment. Either you're playing stupid, completely illiterate, or in denial. Actually, all three sum you up pretty well.

Posted by: hashfanaticFAN at January 15, 2008 5:48 AM

You make me laugh, dingus. Really, you do.

Posted by: V the K at January 15, 2008 6:06 AM

Nice avoidance V...

Posted by: hashfanaticFAN at January 15, 2008 6:15 AM

This is also hilarious. Playboymagazine was so desperate to find someone to defend foaming moonbat Keith Olbermann that they went trolling on his fan-blog.

And, Dingus, do please keep posting here. As a right-winger, I love being reminded how dim, hateful, and paranoid you guys on the left are.

Posted by: V the K at January 15, 2008 6:24 AM

assfanatic's fellow dipshit,
Since you referred directly to my posts, allow me to take you out of fantasyland for just a moment.

Since you leftists are unable to distinguish the moral difference between a murderer and a polemicist it isn't surprising you can't understand the difference between cursing the family of someone you disagree with and condemning hate speech.
I (1 guy, not "guys")stated that I wished I could piss on the corpse of 1 particular traitor who did incalculable harm to America and got patriots who put their lives on the line for their country killed. The scum was NOT a "left wing activist" and I did not refer to any other person.

"You should read the pure jubilation they express at the death of any left wing commentator, politician or subscriber."

That's a good example of projection. I refer you to the hate spewing from any left wing blog.

Posted by: steve at January 15, 2008 7:43 AM

I refer you to the hate spewing from any left wing blog.

Ah, but when leftists wish cancer, misery, and death on people they disagree with, it isn't hate, it's called "patriotic dissent."

Ann Coulter can, no doubt, take anything the Leftards throw (or hurl from their vile mouths) at her. She will simply go back to eviscerating these dolts with every word she writes (why do you think they hate her so?) after an appropriate period of mourning for her Dad. The paranoiac nutjobs will then go back to doing what they do best: being blithering, brainless idiots, foaming at the mouth, hate spewing with every word they speak or write.

Hey, assfanaticfan: You say: "I don't really need to provide the examples, do I?" Uh, yeah, you do, and since you cannot provide even one, you're obviously one of those blithering idiots I spoke of -- Man! The Truth hurts, doesn't it?

I think Ann Coulter is as talented as she is lovely. I wish I could write as goodly as she.

Posted by: Marti Linder at January 15, 2008 2:59 PM

It's interesting and extremely telling that Coultergeist's eulogy only talks about all the things her father hated. Usually when someone dies, especially a parent, we like to remember the good things about our loved one, the things they loved, the things that made them happy. The fact that Coutergeist brings up over and over all the things her father hated shows there wasn't much love in that family! It seems he, like her, needed hate to be happy in life. With a father like that, no wonder Coltergeist is so full of hate. It's all she ever knew.

Posted by: Philip at January 15, 2008 4:14 PM

Ann vas one hell of a lover!

Posted by: Adolph Hitler at January 15, 2008 4:16 PM

Yeah, notice how witty and sophisticated the leftist wit is. Comments about her Adam's apple! Jokes about her having a penis! Nazi jokes! How original! How cutting edge! I'm sure those same hilarious comments haven't been made more than eight or ten billion times on left-wing blogs! Oh, how the left-wing brain is so clever! Bravo!

Man, these trolls are even more heartless than normal. Petty, too, relying on sick and sophomoric jokes and deeply evil sentiments rather than any logical arguments. Then again, their are no logical arguments they can use on this issue, other than the fact that the First Amendment gives pigs like Kelly and the DUers the right to spew their bile as much as they want within reason. I offer Ann Coulter my sympathies, just remember that "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."

FN,

Believe it or not, going by IP address, hashfanatic, hashfanaticfan and the troll who made most of the vile comments about Ann Coulter above appear to be three different people. The latter has now been banned, as happened to hashfanatic back when he was calling himself "Moonbat Supreme." Apparently he became unbanned when I upgraded Movable Type. If he becomes sufficiently irritating he'll be banned once again.
