Imam Denounces Infidels, America Before Iowa Legislature
In a righteous multicultural gesture, the Iowa legislature recruited Muhammad Khan of the Islamic Center of Des Moines to deliver opening prayers. Unsurprisingly, Khan took a Muslim point of view, delivering a prayer that featured requests for "victory over those who disbelieve" (i.e., us infidels) and "protection from the great Satan" (i.e., America).
If Pearl Harbor were to happen now, we'd respond by inviting Japanese officers to give speeches.

The folks in the midwest never used to stand for crap like that. So sad.

He just needs medication to control his anger and hatred; I would recommend a single application of 124 grain JHP delivered by the M9 Beretta injection device.

You were expecting him to serve Communion?
Why bring in such foreigners in the first place?
Posted by: hashfanatic at January 25, 2008 5:33 PM
Exactly. How the US government gives out Green Cards to documented West-haters is an obscene conundrum.

No, Hash-addled, they were presumably expecting him to deliver an opening prayer, not an Islamofascist screed filled with Dhimmicrat Party talking points. Note how the people who want to kill us and their closest allies, the Dhimmicrats, always say virtually the same s**t. Coincidence? I think not . . .

Actually hash you have a bit of a point. What I should have said is that it used to be people in the midwest would have never asked the muzzie to speak in the first place and if he did rag on America he would have fertilizing a nearby cornfield.

Of course I have a point!
How can you invite some foreign cleric from some entirely unfamiliar belief system to come in and pray over you like some country preacher?
He was just reverting to his own ways, doing what they've always done.
Unless Iowa is infested with swarthy Arab types and it was done in deference to the local constituency, why would such an phony, pandering invite be extended in the first place?
It was the legislature that stepped out of line, for not respecting and protecting the community norms of the people they are paid to represent.

Well, DUH! That's the entire point of the thread.
Conservative: "That car is red."
Liberal: "NO! NO! NO! It's a RED car! Conservatives are such stupid noecon neanderthals!"
Absolutely freaking amazing.

YOur Pearl Harbor reference reminded me of this tongue-in-cheek comment:
Anthony Westell, on December 4, 1942: "Japanese threat? What Japanese threat? They haven't attacked America in almost a year!"

Jimbo?
"He just needs medication to control his anger and hatred; I would recommend a single application of 124 grain JHP delivered by the M9 Beretta injection device."
Do you believe this comment was directed to the imam, or do you believe it was directed toward the Iowa Legislature?
Well, DUH!!
Posted by: hashfanatic at January 26, 2008 4:25 PM
Both.
But I'd use a .44.
Beretta doesn't make a .44.

That imam can kiss my red, white, and blue American ass!
