Fan Sues New York Yankees
If it can make the papers, it can be grounds for a lawsuit. Matthew Mitchell of Brooklyn is suing the New York Yankees over reports that some of the players have used performance-enhancing drugs. He wants to be reimbursed for tickets going back to 2002.
Whines the loyal fan:
I look at it almost as consumer fraud. If I'm going to watch a baseball game, then I expect it to be the real thing.
A couple years ago I sat in a cold rain in Yankee Stadium, only to see the lackluster Bronx Bombers get pounded. If I'm going to watch a baseball game, then I expect the Yankees to win. Anyone know a good lawyer?
On a tip from Wiggins.

I've followed the Cubs for many years (loved the Ryne Sandburg and Harry Caray era in the mid-80's especially) -- God knows how much they owe me (in the billions of $) for all my time, effort and attention, but I'll take $100 million and we can call off my pending litigation.
Offer's on the table; I await your call, Cubbies. Thanks, guys!

Try it! It improves baseball, and is the way to get some money!
Years ago, I sued the Jacksonville Suns(AA) for substandard play! And I got $25,000!
Now, you do have to get a "good" lawyer.

Good thing the GB Packers won on Sat. I had a real live lawyer in my basement watching the game along with the necessary papers should the game have not gone my way. Should the Packers not win the Superbowl, Brett Favre's Steakhouse will become Mike's Steakhouse...that's a promise.

Van, I don't like the speed with which you post stories that I tip you about. It's much too slow. You'll be hearing from my lawyers.
The new American Dream.

Jc, Man go with the St.Louis Cardinals, although I wish they'd spend the money the Cubbies do. By the way,how long until baseball season starts?

Farmer Ted: You may be right -- I need to switch to the Redbirds, considering the mountains of disappointment I've suffered at the hands of my (still beloved) Cubbies! My son's a big Cards fan now, thanks to the '06 Series.
You said: "By the way, how long until baseball season starts?" Can't be soon enough, my man, can't be soon enough! Enjoy the '08 season, and best wishes,

"I look at it almost as consumer fraud. If I'm going to watch a baseball game, then I expect it to be the real thing."
Does that mean I can go sue a strip club because the employees have been enhanced?
