European Court Imposes Prisoners' Right to Conjugal Visits and IVF on UK

The European Court of Human Rights has overruled the British Government, which now must provide conjugal visits and in vitro fertilization treatment to incarcerated felons.

The case involved Kirk Dickson, who was convicted of kicking a man to death over a pack of cigarettes. In saner times, Dickson would have been hanged. Instead, he'll be starting a family from behind bars at taxpayers' expense.

Dickson met his wife Lorraine through a prison penpal network while she was in jail for benefits fraud. The two spent £20,000 of taxpayers' money litigating their case.

As Helena Hayward of Family and Youth Concern observes:

We seem to have forgotten that offenders are in prison because they have violated society's law.

We also seem to have forgotten that Britain is a sovereign country. But no matter — the important thing is for moonbat bureauweenies to facilitate the continued dissolution of society by whatever means, no matter how outrageous.

If we have socialized medicine we'll be paying for quite a bit of IVF. You know it can go for $20,000 a month.

I'm wondering how others view the role of prisons in our society nowadays? I think that the prison system is so large a bureaucratic it doesn't have much of a meaningful mission. Should it be:

punitive

rehabilitative

for the safety of society

to pay a debt to society(at society's expense)

Wouldn't looking forward to having children after release be more of a motivator to walk the straight and narrow? Also, who will raise a child and how will they be affected by their parents incarceration during the early years.

Sometimes I think bringing back caning, public shaming, the stocks, public executions would have a better effect. Other times I think the notion of human rights is a byword for no common sense.

The UK is lucky that WWII occurred when it did -- there's nothing there now worth aiding a defense.

In Massachusetts, drug stores and pharmacies are planning to institute in-store clinics to treat people with minor ailments like sore throats and poison ivy. This will be more efficient and economical, while reducing the burdens on the health care industry.

Liberal fascists, of course, are having none of it. Because we're supposed to take time from work, go to a doctor's office, generate massive paperwork, and raise the cost of health care... thereby justifying it's take-over by a government bureaucracy.

The problem is the politicians are evil. In the US recently there was a hearing about high credit card interest rates. One of the congressional reps or senators railed against a spokesperson from a credit card company. Then the politician explained that she had a massive amount of debt. She is using her position to try to reduce her debt interest rate.

"If we have socialized medicine we'll be paying for quite a bit of IVF. You know it can go for $20,000 a month."

But what does it cost, under the robber baron scumbag system?

And why does the world require more losers anyway?

For the sake of a crypto-neocon plot to reproduce THEMSELVES like rabbits? The West needs THIS?

And where is the usual so-called "Right To Life" contingent that hangs around here? Where do THEY weigh in on this silliness?

How in the world can you associate this with the "Right to Life" movement? They are against killing babies in abortions, not social engineering fanatics that demand that psycopaths have the right to reproduce from prision.

You really are a fanatic moonbat.
