Dolphins Not So Nice After All
Deaths of young porpoises and dolphins that had been blamed on the US military and the oil industry were in fact the work of roving gangs of dolphin thugs:
The first clues to solving the riddle came in 1997 when, by coincidence, marine biologists in Virginia were finding young, dead dolphins with horrific internal injuries at the same time as young porpoises were washing up on Scotland's north-east coast with identical causes of death. The body count was growing in both locations.
The two groups of biologists pooled information and, at first, it was believed the mammals had died through "blast trauma". In American cases, this was supposedly from exercises by the US Navy, and in Scotland from air guns used by oil rig technicians to detect undersea caverns.
This theory was dismissed after further examination of the mammals' bodies revealed the injuries — broken ribs, imploding lungs, damaged livers and massive internal bleeding — could only have come from prolonged, focused attacks.
Bite marks and violent videos confirmed that dolphins were to blame.
Marine experts now believe that these displays of attacks on non-rival, non-predatory, peace-loving porpoises and, more shockingly, of dolphin infanticide, may have always taken place.
It is only now, with dolphins' more human-friendly behaviour taking them closer to tourist boats and beaches, that the violence is being witnessed first hand. Until the shocking realisation, dolphin-watchers in America had believed they were watching the mammals at play with their young.
Dolphins use their ultrasound capabilities to home in on vital organs during their attacks.

How many times have you heard about how smart and caring these beneficent mammals are? How many times have you heard dolphin sycophants scold we lowborn humans, telling us that if we were only more like the dolphins the whole world would be sooo much better?

Sharing the dolphins love for senseless brutality, lefties are spending $8.5 million on a Bush-bashing ad campaign. Since Bush isn't running for anything, that's a pretty expensive temper tantrum. Think of all the school supplies you could buy for poor kids with that $8.5 million dollars. Well, I guess throwing a temper tantrum against Bush is a better use, huh lefties?

That only can explain a lesser part of the death of dolphins, the biggest part of that deaths correspond to injuries caused by human activities.
The only known dolphin species doing this is the bottlenose dolphin, they are doing this since a long time ago and the number of dead dolphins at the present time does excel the stimated number of agressions between dolphins, as well as the characteristics of the injuries, only in a lesser part it is related to injuries by another dolphins, the examination of the injuries reveals that the biggest part can not be caused by agressive behaviour between dolphins.
There is an external cause for the present high number of dead dolphins, and it is related to human activities.
That same dolphin is being utilized by the US military forces in San Diego for the purpose of locating mines.
The same killer dolphin seems enough good in the therapy for autist children as well as for another handicapped people.

Dumbshit, human aggression is a by-product of the 3+ million years of primate evolution due to living on a hostile world. We, like Dolphins, are predators. I cannot think of a single organism on this planet that doesn't have some method of defending itself and those of us in the Animal Kingdom are blessed with great mobility and even greater ability to defend ourselves. That ingrained aggression is in All species and the fact that some animals are 'natural born killers' is yet another aspect of evolution. Like humans, there are defective animals whose natural aggression is far greater than normal.
Its typical of fuzzy headed jackasses to think that only humans are capable of murder or extreme violence not linked to feeding ourselves. Grow up!

It's been said for years: "Mother Nature is a B***H", we really have no right to be shocked when animals act "like animals". Only humans have civil laws and codes of propper conduct.
The TRUE "law of the jungle" is "eat or starve", and even a VEGITARIAN must KILL a living thing (A plant) in order to survive. Remember that.

Carlos, he didn't say that dolphins are evil. He said that dolphins are not the saints that most environmentalists make them out to be, but are in fact intelligent animals that are capable of horrific activities like humans. There are plenty of dolphins, like dogs, that help humans if we train them.
