Tancredo Drops Out to Save Us From Huckleberry
Tom Tancredo, who was running on the single issue of doing something about the illegal alien invasion, has dropped out of the presidential race and is endorsing Mitt Romney. Here's why:
My fear is that if I were to stay in this race my votes could be the factor in handing victory to a pro-amnesty politician.
Now who could he have in mind? Lettuce McCain has been no friend of border security, but the more pressing threat is the Huckster:
[Tancredo] made plain that he was moved to get out of the contest because he feared the rise of Mike Huckabee, who has taken a less hard-line approach to immigration in the past.
"It was important in making this decision — you bet your life it was," Tancredo said, speaking to a group of reporters and supporters at a press conference.
Tancredo has fought the good fight on illegal immigration. Let's hope Romney carries it forward.

Inconsequential with regards to illegal immigration. That's the greatest distraction ever devised. The exact same result would still be happening because all LEGAL immigrants come from the same places that most illegals do. The 1965 Kennedy sponsored/Republican supported opened the floodgates to the third world inundation we now have. If Westerners are reduced to minority status, the West dies. LEGAL IMMIGRATION IS THE PROBLEM, NOT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

I kinda like Huckabee...like I like Bush. Good for a fishing buddy, not so much for Pres. NOT at all a fan of Romney.

I despise Huckabee's whole "our country needs to give thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" schtick. That is not appropriate for a presidential candidate, and due to this alone, he will not and csnnot win. That is putting aside his RINO positions on taxes, immigration, policy, etc. And his almost-endearing elementary school understanding of foreign policy and global politics. Huckabee is a media invention, and they will pull the plug on him just as soon as they get bored with pumping up a bible thumper for Republican candidate so as to give Hillary an easier ride to the White House. Tancredo is an ass-kicker with enough integrity and soundness of mind to pull out of the race to prevent Huckabee from stealing votes from someone who might actually deserve them.
