Global Warming Is Over
Bad news for global warming profiteers and the power-mad bureaucrats infesting the UN: the slight warming trend we experienced during the 80s and 90s ended years ago:
The fact is that the global temperature of 2007 is statistically the same as 2006 as well as every year since 2001. Global warming has, temporarily or permanently, ceased. Temperatures across the world are not increasing as they should according to the fundamental theory behind global warming — the greenhouse effect.
Unfortunately, the pendulum could start to swing back toward the global cooling we experienced between 1940 and 1978. As everyone but moonbats intuitively understands, cold weather is more of a challenge than warm.

Those with a technical bent may be interested in the organics melting out of the Greenland glaciers which are pretty solid proof that the Mediaeval Warm Period was equivalent to today (the glaciers have retreated back far enough to show the organics trapped beneath at the time).
Of course that was just a "local effect". Heh. Yeah.

Ice-encrusted cars and streets. Can't help but laugh. However, this will not convince the global warming evangelists. They will take the ice and snow as evidence of .... global warming.
Anyway, global warming was nice while it lasted. Now it's freezing again down here in Virginia. Can't we all drive our SUV's some more, or something? I want Global Warming back.
P.S. I think (but could be wrong) that some of the crazy global warming crowd has already realized they're in the process of jumping the shark, and has moved on (or back) to global justice, wealth transfer from us to the world's poor, blah blah blah. Increasingly, "global warming" has stopped being about the weather and about the usual, tired old global socialist agenda.

Strangely, it looks kind of like global warming jumped the shark around abouts the same time as wikipedia did. Coincidence or... something more..?

There have been several articles warning that warming could well result in increased snow. Not that those articles started appearing until both Europe and North America had, this year, already seen "early" and "large" snowfalls.
Still have not heard how SUVs (and fuel) are getting to Mars and the Jovian moons so as to cause the warming there.
