2007 Worst Kostard Quotes

Right Wing News has posted The 2nd Annual Worst Quotes From The Daily Kos (2007 Edition). These are drawn not from commenters, but from actual authors on the blog that is so influential among Dems, all the major presidential candidates came to Yearly Kos to offer their obeisance.

A few samples:

I know I'm a Jewish lesbian and (Ahmadinejad would) probably have me killed. But still, the guy speaks some blunt truths about the Bush Administration that make me swoon… Okay, I admit it. Part of it is that he just looks cuddly. […] There are certainly many things about Ahmadinejad that I abhor — locking up dissidents, executing of gay folks, denying the fact of the Holocaust, potentially adding another dangerous nuclear power to the world and, in general, stifling democracy. Even still, I can't help but be turned on by his frank rhetoric calling out the horrors of the Bush Administration and, for that matter, generations of US foreign policy preceding. — sallykohn
I want to stand by and watch it all blow up. I want the dollar to plunge to worthless paper. I want the stock market to implode. I want the economy to plunge into chaos. I want the Chinese to call in all the debt they hold. […] Only total economic destruction will get the attention of the fools. …And I want it now, before this inept, self-serving Congress allows the Facists one more opportunity to fully convert this from the United States of America, into the 4th Reich." — Granny Doc
But do I still support the individual men and women who have given so much to serve their country? No. I think they're a bunch of idiots. I also think they're morally retarded. Because they sign a contract that says they will kill whoever you tell me to kill. And that is morally retarded. Friends, the most important moral decision a man makes in the course of a day is "Who am I going to kill today?" That's a decision you should agonize over, dream about, rehearse in your mind for hours, not just leave up to some hare-brained President you didn't even vote for. A man's killing list is a very personal matter. It should be between him and those persistent voices in his head. So to sum up, I don't like our troops, I don't like what they're doing, I don't like their fat, whining families, and yet, I support them. — AWhitneyBrown

This is the Netroots base to which Democrat politicians owe allegiance.

It's always a bad sign when godless blind moonbats claim they hold the moral high ground. They deserve what's coming to them and we should pray for them because it ain't gonna be pretty.

So, in the face of all that is wrong in the world now, you decide that the windmill you will tilt for is other peoples opinions. Thats your outrage? Not the constitution, or rendition, or the disenfranchisement of the people for corporate gain?
If you wanted to have some fun with peoples quotes, you should do a montage of all the explanations for Scott Guckert/Gannon. There be some moonbattery there for sure. Maybe check into some quotes on Iran and nuclear proliferation prior to today.

I didn't realize I was supposed to have a prepared personal hit list. I'll get to work on that right away.

What about rendition? It's a good technique/policy to get what we need to execute the WOT.

"Disenfrachisement of the people for corporate gain?"

WTF are you talking about? That certainly isn't the case here, but fits nicely into the framework of Paulbots, Kookcinicheads, and dumbasses who think anarchy is the way to go.

Further, the only current threat to the Constitution is the left-wing MFCSs who wish to prevent me from owning firearms.

@ skh.pcola

You make a rational point??

Democrats aren't beholden to Daily Kos or the "netroots', as has been made obvious by their track record in Congress. There are f___ing idiots a'plenty on both the left and right. Moreover, the fact that you denounce Kos, the netroots and the Democratic Party based on 3 examples of what you think constitutes extreme moonbattery only suggest that you are, perhaps, the biggest IDIOT of all.

"blog that is so influential among Dems"

What's funny is, I, for one, don't read Kos (Or Huffpo).

I prefer to spend my time reading intellectual trainwrecks like this site.

"They deserve what's coming to them and we should pray for them because it ain't gonna be pretty."

What, pray tell, is coming to them that won't also come to you?

Posted by: Angryflower at December 4, 2007 4:09 PM

This is pretty amazing. With all that is on the table right now, and with the Bush administration seemingly collapsing from its own internal rot, THIS is what you choose to talk about?

One can pick out weirdo posts from just about anywhere. Shall we seek out little tidbits from end-time christo-fascists and hold them up as exemplars of Repubican values? Would that be helpful in some way? I thought not.

Why not speak to the important things happening right now?
Unless, of course, it's just too painfull.

Ooooo.

Trolls are offended when faced with their own idology.

Typical.

At least they are making a half-attempt at contolling their vulgarities - I know it's hard for a liberal to speak with using the 'F' word. But they still can't keep from calling the messenger an "idiot".

Again - typical.

Extinction.

The Daily Kos is nothing BUT weirdo posts made by mentally unbalanced nuts and people hopped up on pharmaceuticals calling Bush another Hitler along with the usual conspiracies about 9-11, Skull and Bones and the black helicopters.

Yes, these sorts of things are exactly what everybody who didn't vote for Bush thinks. And every single Republican is also a Ku Klux Klan member.

In spite of Kos
In spite of Cindy
In spite of moonbattey
In spite of many other things, the people of the United States have turned against Bush and his war.
They turned the Republicans out of Congress in 2006
They will turn the Republicans out of the White House in 2008
In spite of the "shortcomings" of their leaders.

T-Bone: "You make a rational point" is a declarative statement. It does not require a question mark. And, thank you for recognizing the fact that I make more sense than you and your sock puppets. It means a lot. Really.
