University of Delaware Backs Down from Thought Control Regimen
Under fire from the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, the University of Delaware has felt compelled to suspend the previously mentioned thought control program inflicted in its dormitories.
As reported at FIRE:
Late Thursday, University of Delaware President Patrick Harker released on the school's website a Message to the University of Delaware Community terminating the university's ideological reeducation program, which FIRE condemned as an exercise in thought reform. He stated, "I have directed that the program be stopped immediately. No further activities under the current framework will be conducted." Harker also called for a "full and broad-based review" of the program's practices and purposes. While concerns remain about the University of Delaware's commitment to free expression, FIRE commends President Harker for his decision to immediately terminate the Orwellian residence life education program.
This will hardly put an end to leftist indoctrination on the campus, but it's encouraging to see confirmation that when confronted and exposed, educratic brainwashers will back down, compelled by the same spinelessness that makes them so slavishly politically correct in the first place.

I wrote to most of the e-mail addresses on the contact page of the U. of Delaware. I also made a donation to FIRE.

I guess this was really a "test" to see how far they could go and what they could get away with. Now they know they have to be more subtle so as to go undetected. This will only motivate them to fine tune their future operations. They will never stop.

Just out of interest, googling around after reading about the programme I found this article in our Guardian newspaper, the bible of the British liberal bourgeoisie-
http://www.guardian.co.uk/comment/story/0,3604,748306,00.html
Echoing what was taught at Delaware, our writer makes an interesting observation regarding himself-
"As a black man, I admit I am bound to suffer from prejudices of my own. I cannot be racist, however, because in the global order I do not belong to the dominant group."
How convenient.
