Redacted Bombs

Left-wing director Brian De Palma's Redacted, which pushes the anti-America propaganda envelope right over the edge by showing drunken U.S. soldiers raping a 14-year-old Arab girl and murdering her whole family, is bombing spectacularly.
The inflammatory trash that critic Michael Medved called "the worst movie I've ever seen" took in $25,628 in its opening weekend; in the entire country, about 3,000 people were moonbatty enough to go see it, despite all the publicity.
However, the flop may still advance De Palma's stated goal of helping bring about an American defeat. As Bill O'Reilly has pointed out, the movie
will be displayed prominently on jihadi websites, and will be used as a recruiting tool by terrorists.
That, and pandering to America-hating European leftists, were apparently the real objectives of De Palma and producer Mark Cuban.

On a tip from Scott.
