Newsweek Reader Reactions to Rove and Moulitsas

In a cosmetic attempt to balance out having signed up the psycho-left Markos "Screw Them" Moulitsas to do election coverage, Newsweek is hosting articles by mild former Bush advisor Karl Rove, who for mysterious reasons causes moonbats to cringe in abject dread. The comments section gave lefties a chance to spit their venom at Rove from safety — and gave Newsweek's relatively mainstream audience a peek at the creatures who wriggle and writhe in the dank murk of the left-wing blogosphere.

DUmmie FUnnies has collected some samples:

Bush is undoubtedly the worst President in history and anyone who supports him should be charged with accessory to mass murder.
How dare you give this scum a forum to spew his vile nonsense.
Newsweek is colluding with Rove and other neocons to keep the Lie going.
Why the heII is Newsweek giving this war criminal liar a column? Absolutely disgusting, Newsweek!
Why are you giving this liar, cheat and thief a forum for his venom. Next to Dick Cheney he's the biggest (rhymes with stick) in political history.
Why give this treasonous, lying, mud-raker (these are facts, not opinion or slander) a forum to comment about the upcoming election.
Rove is a fat pig at the corporate Republican trough. This trough overflowing with swill of corruption and greed, lies and deceipt, human suffering and murder is consumed by Rove and the rest of the sanctimonious Republican Neo Con Party. The pigs at this farm just don't eat the swill they bathe in it. […] One thing I know is that every fat pig has his day before he's slaughtered by the farmers knife.
I am totally amazed that Newsweek would allow a criminal of this stature to become a correspondent. This is on the level of letting Joseph Goebbels write columns about WWII. -Yea I went there, because if the fascist shoe fits.

One moonbat who noticed that Newsweek is a "useless rag" only when it permitted Rove's point of view even accused him of "disdain for debate."

But despite the many commenters who threatened to cancel their subscriptions, the only concrete objection they could come up with is that Rove supposedly "outed" Valerie Plame. Back in the real world, Plame was outed by Foggy Bottom bureauweenie Richard Armitage — to the extent it's possible to out a CIA seat-warmer who wasn't even covert.

Meanwhile conservative comments on Screw Them Moulitsas' blog offered the Dems constructive criticism like this:

As much as he claims to know about politics, you'd think Markos might want to focus Dems on running against the Republican candidate, not the lame-duck President.

But constructive criticism is wasted on the pack of snarling dogs represented by Moulitsas.

Still driving moonbats berserk.

Comments

I have to say this about most of these Bush haters: Either they were born after 1980 or are complete dunderheads. Anyone who survived the Jimmuh Carter years knows who was truly our worst president.

And how about Bill "China's Doll" Clinton, the King of National Non-Security? Most Moonbats have never even heard of anything he did while in office, other than messing with an intern.

Yawn - whacked out moonbats making 'war criminal' claims - hopefully like more moonbats - they won't reproduce

Bandit may get his wish. Moonbats are aborting their next generation to save the planet. It may actually work, but only if every moonbat decides not to reproduce. Then, us normal folk might have a chance to really save the planet.
