Moonbats Move to Ban Pickups and SUVs
The Ninth Circus Court of Appeals has teamed up with several states and envirowacko activist groups to ban pickups and SUVs.
Congress passed misguided legislation during the Arab oil embargo a generation ago banning cars that don't meet certain gas mileage requirements. Since SUVs and pickups are not cars but trucks, they generally do not meet these requirements and aren't expected to. This is known as the "light-truck loophole" — and moonbats are now closing it.
If the decision stands, Detroit will take a major blow when it can least afford to — and a little more freedom will be snatched away in the name of environmentalism, potentially the most malignant strain of authoritarian moonbattery ever devised.

And when can we expect to see super-guzzler stretch limos, taxi helicopters and private jets get sturck off as environmentally unfriendly? DUH, when Al Gore and his Cronywood moonbats don't feel like using them anymore!

This is probably the only time I've ever taken a stance which differs from yours. And it's not that I agree with the moonbats, either. It's that I agree with Mike Huckabee:

The SUV can go when the Dems give up their jets to no where & they start driving little VWs everywhere. I am not giving up anymore of my freedom so they can be happy. No more---I want my country back & they can go live in Iran to be happy. Think they will--be happy that is???
