Moonbat Architecture
The corrosion of the mind and spirit known as moonbattery has deformed not only politics. Even architecture has suffered.
In moonbat-friendly Cambridge, MIT has filed a negligence suit against architect Frank Gehry, whose avart-garde design for the $300-million Stata Center has resulted in leaks, mold, cracking masonry, backed-up drains, emergency exits block by ice, a flooded amphitheater, etc.
The center "was hailed by critics as innovative and eye-catching with its unconventional walls and radical angles." Unfortunately being "unconventional" and "radical" isn't any more constructive in architecture than in any other pursuit where undermining convention as an end in itself has resulted in lunacy.
Gehry has become one of the world's most famous architects by designing goofy monstrosities that look like something out of a Doctor Seuss illustration (e.g., the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles). Like progressive ideology, his buildings may not be functional but they are very cutting-edge.

No architect should be alowed to set pen to paper untill he (Or she) fully understands that PEOPLE have to live and/or work in these buildings.
Oh, and by the way:
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic
expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture
from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote
ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."
