Laugher of the Week

Set your coffee down before reading this one:

According to Time Magazine editor Amy Sullivan, Hillary Clinton is a "moral conservative."

As most of us have been aware for some time, Shrillary is the farthest thing from moral or conservative. Attempting to justify her preposterous remark, Sullivan digs herself deeper (video):

It seems that on social issues, by which I mean kind of welfare and economic issues, she's fairly liberal. But she's a moral conservative. Which is to say that she also gets behind, you know, things like values issues. She's endorsed a plan to lower abortion rates…

Not even on MSNBC would this idiocy wash. Tucker Carlson responded:

She also has come out in support of partial-birth abortion, against the vast majority of Americans, at least as measured by poll numbers. So that suggests that's an issue she really believes in.

When Sullivan started reciting the brain-dead, pro-abortion bumper-sticker slogan "Safe, Legal, and Rare," Carlson asked:

Has she ever suggested placing any restriction of any kind on abortion, limiting for instance abortion for sex selection? Or any restriction, of any kind. Ever? I must have missed it. Has she?

In response, Sullivan started gibbering about preventing unwanted pregnancies (presumably by teaching schoolgirls to put condoms on cucumbers), and paying women to have babies out of wedlock. This must pass as the agenda of a "moral conservative" from the point of view of Sullivan, who in addition to inhabiting the cave full of moonbats at Time is also a member of Faithful Democrats and Progressive Faith Media.
