Institutional Racism in Denver
The Rocky Mountain News reports on a disturbing case of racism:
The city of Denver is showing its employees a diversity training video that portrays a white man as a narrow-minded buffoon — triggering allegations of "institutional racism" against Anglos. […]
The video, titled Laughing Matters — Think About It, is meant to show employees how humor at the expense of others diminishes respect in the workplace. The character who breaks all the rules is Billy, a white, blue-collar worker who's a racist, sexist goofball.
Actually, what it is meant to do is demonize white men, like most politically correct brainwashing material. Dennis Supple, a heating/ventilation/AC mechanic who works for the city, is threatening to file a lawsuit to prevent Denver from continuing to ram the obnoxious video down workers' throats, on the grounds that it constitutes the very institutional racism that moonbat racists pretend to find so objectionable.
The video, part of a 1–3-hour "facilitated discussion," took a second-place Instruction/Training award in 2005 from the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors. First place probably went to Michael Moore — unless Louis Farrakhan has taken up filmmaking.
Hat tip: Slapstick Politics.

"All white people are racist. Nobody else can be racist".
Brainwash, rinse, repeat.

I worked for a company, Zebra Technologies Corporation, base in Vernon Hills,IL. We were required to watch a sensitivity film in which the racist, sexist, misogynist was a loutish white male. I refused to sign off as having watched this claptrap and eventually they backed off.
Until 7/2007 I worked for Zebra's Warwick, RI facility. When I worked there there was not one black person in a professional position. Not one. It appears to me that an effort is made to keep the facility lily white. By the way,I eschew the term African-American since a white Afrikaner who immigrates to the U.S. is in effect, an African-American.
Also, sexual innuendo is rife. More often than not with women present.
Sensitivity film indeed.

I had to watch a live scene that cast the white male as the villain. It was horrendous. I denounced part of it, but there were too many parts to condemn. It's not just the Universities that push this bile, it's the corporations now as well.

I hope Mr. Supple gets some where. He has worked there too long for them to fire him. My guess is that they will still try to fire him, however. I got fired after only two weeks after I complained about similar B.S. in a State of Colorado job.

There is a good web site that deals with discriminations against white people: http://www.adversity.net
