Hugo Chavez Compares Himself to Jesus Christ
In the aftermath of behaving so boorishly at an Ibero-American summit that the King of Spain had to ask him to shut up, Hugo Chavez is now comparing himself to Jesus Christ:
Mr Chavez, who was told by King Juan Carlos to "shut up" at a summit in Chile, said if he were to keep quiet "the stones of the people of Latin America would cry out", paraphrasing words used by Christ in Jerusalem shortly before his crucifixion.
The Venezuelan information ministry later issued press releases detailing the relevant passages in the Bible to ensure the message was clear.
As other communist dictators have proven, megalomania and moonbattery are a very dangerous mix.

Wow, I thought they were going to say "issued press releases saying what he MEANT to say was..." in an effort to clean up the mess. But no, nothing so normal as that.

When are they going to nail Chavez to a cross? Alot of people would see that. After all he is comparing himself to the Son of God. I wonder how God the Father feels about that one? Wait a minute! I thought communists didnt do the Christian thing? What the hell?

In Atheism, there is no God. Man can be his own god and do as he sees fit.
So obviously, Chavez sees himself as the latest god-man ruler over a Communist dictatorship, ready to be worshiped (under threat of deathj) as Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Kim Jong-Il and Castor were/are.
