Hollyweird Moonbats: USA = Nazi Germany, Conservatives = Witch-Hunters

Yet again, a Tinseltown bubblehead has made a fool of herself with over-the-top hyperbole denouncing the country that made her rich. Here's how Meryl Streep justifies comparing America to the Third Reich:

When the government said, "you can't photograph coffins coming home from Iraq," that was a clear abrogation of the right to a free press. And the press rolled over. Look at how the German people have lived, for all these years, with a legacy of "How could you let that happen?" We might be living with that kind of legacy in the next fifty years.

A few questions for Meryl:

When America was fighting the real Third Reich, did the media strive to demoralize our country and our troops by obsessing on pictures of dead American troops? Would the government have allowed them to? Could anyone in Hollywood have spewed Streep's sort of moonbattery and still had a career?

Now some political wisdom from George Clooney, who apparently gives a lot of thought to political issues, but unfortunately isn't any brighter than Streep:

Go through the history of time. During the Salem witch hunt, the liberals thought there was no such thing as witches, and the conservative view was "They're witches and they all have to die."

Actually, the unhinged, seditious fools we now call liberals didn't have much of a presence back then. But the hysterical desire to seek out "witches" and punish them is still very much with us. Ask anyone accused of "racism."

Loony then provides a new litmus test for liberal candidates:

Anybody who's running who's gone through the Sixties and didn't smoke a joint, I don't want you for president. You haven't lived at all. What the f–k's wrong with you?

It's nice to see that even moonbats insist on some qualifications.

Not the sharpest tool in the Hollyweird shed.

How do we get these people to just shut up? They generally continue to demonstate how stupid they are, yet the MSM reports their expressed garbage as cutting edge doctrine worthy of imitation and admiration and praise. We are in a dark time when take our cues for meaning and living from the thoughts of entertainers.

Come on now, the people have spoken. Rendition "anti-War on Islamic Agression" movie number #1 bombed. Lions for Lambs, Redford's "anti-war on Islamic Agression" movie #2 bomb bomb bombed!

People are going to the theatre less and or when going are telling them that we aren;t buying their crap.

In fact the only people that buy Hollywierds BS is themselves and their lap dogs at the MSM.

Streep can kiss my arse. Clooney can kiss hers after she's kissed mine. Losers.

Apostle, as long as the media continues to give them a platform, they will never shut up. And, seeing as Hollywood writers are on strike, we can count on them spouting off even more, since they don't have anything else to do for the time being. Not to mention the upcoming election will have them all "doing their part" to get a lib in the White House. *groan*

How many millions of dollars do these people need to lose before they stop being listened to?

>>Actually, the unhinged, seditious fools we now call liberals didn't have much of a presence back then.>>

Modern Liberalism (Capital "L") got it's start in the fifties when some white fools felt GUILTY about the civil rights marches. The American Communist Party infiltrated their groups as they did so many others and now we have to fight the result.
In my oppinion, the real "golden age" of Hollywood was from around 1937 to 1946. Durring that time they not only made movies that have stood the test of time, but created technical inovations and advances in photo story-telling.

She does one thing well--she's a good actress. After that, a dummy!
Yet, the media fawns on them and why not? They are stars themselves!
The Today Show cast spent much of their "news"
time today talking about themselves. Did you know MV once wanted to join the circus and Ml wanted to be an astronaut? These answers were in response to viewers' questions. More coming up tomorrow.

I guarantee that Streep doesn't know what "abrogate" means. She used a thesaurus or somebody told her what to write, or somebody wrote that pap for her.

During the Salem witch hunt, the liberals thought there was no such thing as witches, and the conservative view was "They're witches and they all have to die." I know Jane Fonda's old and wrinkly but I didn't think she was that old

Anybody who's running who's gone through the Sixties and didn't smoke a joint, I don't want you for president. Because you have too many brain cells
