Google Censors Robert Spencer
The left-wing orientation of the menacingly powerful Google has moved beyond throwing money at liberal causes, helping the ChiComs to censor the Internet, delisting conservative e-zines, and banning ads critical of the lunatics at MoveOn.org to actively assisting our terrorist enemies by silencing their critics.
Robert Spencer has provided a crucial service in giving us information about our civilization's Islamist enemies that has not been twisted into useless fiction by political correctness. His blogs Jihad Watch and Dhimmi Watch are treasure troves. I can personally recommend his books The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam and The Truth About Mohammad.
Regardless of the rhetoric spewed by terrorists and their enablers (e.g., CAIR), Spencer does not defame anyone, but simply refuses to whitewash Islam, which as any idiot can readily observe is the farthest thing from a "Religion of Peace."
This has incurred the wrath of the Muslim–moonbat alliance. Spencer recently gave a talk at Dartmouth, which you can view here. You can't see it on Google Video though; it was taken down, evidently for no other reason than being displeasing to the Muslim fanatics who are waging a terror war against us.
We cannot defend ourselves from our enemies while pretending that they are fuzzy and nice and would be our friends if we just engaged in dialogue. The idea that a company with as much power over the flow of information as Google would censor calm and rational criticism of an ideology sworn to our destruction is hair-raising.
On a tip from Cheetah.

"Google has moved beyond throwing money at liberal causes, helping the ChiComs to censor the Internet..."
It will be a great day when freedom of expression and political thought comes to Mainland China. If that day occurs, I hope former political prisoners sue the pants off corporations like Google.
Heck, some are trying to have US corporations today pay "reparations" related to slavery, so I think there is a point of time in the future where Google and other companies will need to be held accountable.

I'll be attending a luncheon next week where Robert Spencer is slated to speak, and am looking forward to it. I'm a fan of Jihad Watch too.
Were Google's creators trained at the NY Times?

Most of the software heavies are "Liberal"/Left. Don't you just know they are well in contact with their fellow megalomaniacal nacissists in the Democrat Party, making plans to censor out all non-Moonbat voices from the Web, in the same vein as they have done in China?
