Fighting Sioux for Not Much Longer
It looks like University of North Dakota sports teams will be changing their nickname from the Fighting Sioux in the near future, because for reasons unclear to non-moonbats, the politically correct weenies running the NCAA deem it to be hostile and abusive.
Fortunately the Notre Dame Fighting Irish get to keep their name. You might call this reverse reverse racism.

Team nicknames are complimentary because they choose groups that have or had admirable qualities - such as toughness.
That's why no teams are named the "Whining Libtards" or the "Craven Dhimmmis". At least no teams have names like that yet.

The Sioux were warriors - their descendants should be glad their memory is being kept alive. Considering they werent all that great at fighting since they lost to the superior tactics and firepower of the pale skins!

As PJ O'Rourke noted, sports teams are never named for cultures we disrespect. That's why there's no such team as the Detroit N-gg-rs or the Los Angeles Sp-cs.

I just wish the Redskins would change their name ...they way that they have been playing is an insult to my heritage! Considering their team salary, their lack of offensive creativity and the way the defense folds when victory is at hand...they should be called the "Washington Democrats"
