Casper the Friendly Racist
A kid was suspended from Westview High School in San Diego for two days because his Halloween ghost custom reminded the hysterical witch-finders running the school of the sort of outfit prominent Democrat Senator and former KKK kleagle Robert Byrd used to wear.
Contrary to some reports, the ghost custom, made by his aunt 10 years previously and worn on and off by family members through the years, did not come with a pointy hat. But no one denies it was white.
The incident has inspired a parent's group to call for diversity and tolerance training — i.e., institutionalized brainwashing — in the Poway Unified School District.
