Atheists Sue to Remove Crosses Commemorating Troopers
Utah has honored Highway Patrol troopers who have died in the line of duty by erecting roadside crosses in their memory. Deranged beyond any awareness of decency by their hatred of God, the authoritarian moonbats of American Atheists Inc. are suing to have the crosses removed.
The tactic as usual is the perverse use of the First Amendment, which guarantees freedom of religion, to ban religion — clearly the exact opposite of what the amendment was intended to accomplish.
Byron Babione of the Alliance Defense Fund remarks:
I think it's ridiculous that a small group of offended atheists would seek to stop the family of slain troopers from honoring their loved ones as they see fit. These memorial crosses clearly do nothing more than honor fallen troopers and promote highway safety.
No taxpayer money goes toward the memorials — not that local tax money would be the business of American Atheists Inc., which is based in New Jersey, on the opposite side of the country. But the notion that anything that might remind someone of God be permitted anywhere is as intolerable to moonbats as holy water to vampires. The Founding Fathers would be horrified that our courts have degenerated to the point of usually taking their side.

We're asked to believe that our own Constitution forbids this — in the name of freedom of religion. |

Atheism was far more tolerable when it was "I don't believe in God," instead of "I hate people who believe in God."

Everytime I see this I wonder how long our elected officials and appointed Supreme Court Justices will take in standing up for what the founding fathers intended when the Constitution was put together! All Atheists do is reflect hate and a lack of respect for people who don't think in the same sick way they do. Shame on them and God bless the USA, and the Christian citizens who have to endure these attacks.
