As in Zimbabwe, So in New Orleans

What happens when moonbattery results in racist criminals being put in charge of the government? You can see for yourself in Zimbabwe, where Robert Mugabe stole farms from white people and passed them out to his friends; the result has been total economic collapse. For an example closer to home, have a look at New Orleans, a city run by moonbats, morons, and thugs.

Until last month the DA was Eddie Jordan, whose office repeatedly released violent criminals because it couldn't manage to prepare indictments in the required 60-day period. Released suspects include Michael Anderson, who apparently murdered five teenagers.

Jordan's main priority was not prosecuting criminals, but making the DA's office look "more like New Orleans" by getting rid of the white people, as in Zimbabwe. Jordan systematically fired Caucasian staffers and replaced them with boobs whose only qualification was their black skin. Seventy-six staffers and case investigators were fired — all but three of them non-Hispanic whites.

Firing recommendations were made by Stephanie Butler, an aide for local Congressman William Jefferson — the guy who diverted Katrina rescue operations to help him with an evidently incriminating box, and who was caught with $90,000 in his freezer, as his fellow Dems bleated about the "Culture of Corruption."

Since New Orleans isn't its own country, there is still some rule of law. Those fired for being white sued, and Jordan has been driven out of office. Oliver Thomas, head of the New Orleans City Council, has been indicted for bribery, as has Rep. Jefferson.

But the crime rate is still out of control. Mayor Ray Nagin reminds us that this has "kept the New Orleans brand out there." He's promised to keep New Orleans "chocolate" — i.e., black majority.

No wonder corporations are bailing out of New Orleans. It's not the ideal climate to do business — unless of course you're a crooked Congressman with the correct skin color.

Nagin snoozes while his Chocolate City sinks.

If a repeat of Katrina ever occurs to new Orleans, I will not be so quick to be sympathetic towards that city, especially if Nagin continues as the mayor there. It is just not worth it. Perhaps Katrina was our American judgment of Sodom or Gomorrah, and should be left to rot

Yes, but can you still get a good frozen daiquiri at a drive through?

Couldn't help but notice that Biloxi hardly made a blip on the Democrat Bullhorn (mainstream media) during the Katrina crisis, with all the phony pity-mongering/Bush-blaming, but then, Biloxi is not run by Ray Nagin/Eddie Jordan race-and-victim-card types, so it stands to reason why they were mostly ignored.

It's kind of like when Mike Tyson said he would rather be ripped off by black manager than treated fairly by a white manager. When psychosis is treated as normality, it's little surprise that society collapses into psychotic disarray.

...making the DA's office look "more like New Orleans
A complete and total disaster?

I worked in New Orleans right after Katrina and got a really close look at the caliber of people who make up a large portion of that city. A large portion of them were the most lazy, irresponsible, and pathetic people I have ever seen. We also spent some time in the Biloxi area with those 'roll up your sleeves and get the job done' people. The difference was night and day as far as the work ethic and entitlement mentality. Many of the people from New Orleans were expecting the government to take care of them like it has done most of their lives, but they were quite disappointed. I guess the bottom line was that they just had no clue how to take care of themselves.

Yep. All of this mess with the New Orleans' Dream Team (read: nightmare) is why I no longer live there. I lost everything I owned in Katrina... with the exception of my self-respect and work ethic. It's unfortunate that I have to explain myself when I say that I lived just outside of New Orleans, but with the pity party still in full-swing, people still standing around with their hands out, waiting to see what the gubmint is gonna fill 'em wit, and enough FEMA trailers to make a highway to the moon and back, I'd rather explain myself than have anyone think that I am of that ilk.

So, FYI, we're not ALL deadbeats and corrupt crazies.

I left Atlanta over a decade ago.
The city administration evolved into a third-world representation of public service.
No service, no work, we are here to simply act as an implementation of all the social and affirmative action programs taken to a hard-left extreme.

We have people who think that a ruling class with good intentions can force a populous (tax-payers) to live with bad government. Did not happen, we just left, and most were productive tax-paying citizens, leaving the leeches to suck off each other..
