Alec Baldwin Wants to Cure Us of Addiction to Energy
Posted by Dave Blount at November 15, 2007 7:05 AM
Since moonbats stridently oppose burning fossil fuels, they must want us to use nuclear power, the only currently feasible alternative to keep our power plants running — right?
Wrong. Bellicose Tinseltown glitterpig Alec Baldwin is spearheading a jihad against Indian Point, a nuclear plant north of New York City. Opines the noted nuclear physicist Baldwin:
Nuclear power as it exists today is not safe. Many of the people in this room know that the federal government has manipulated the facts about nuclear power for years. The government cannot be relied on … to present you with honest facts.
If you want honest facts on technical matters, obviously you must turn to unhinged Hollyweird moonbats whose careers have passed their expiration dates.
How are we going to provide NYC's massive energy needs without fossil fuels or nuclear energy? Maybe if we close our eyes and think green thoughts, the lights will come on all by themselves. If not, and civilization collapses around us, at least we'll be cured of what Baldwin denounces as our "addiction to energy."

On a tip from Wiggins.
