Journalist Rebecca Aguilar Suspended for Harassing Old Man
Bad news for Rebecca Aguilar, the Hispanic Journalist of the Year: She has been suspended for harassing a 70-year-old man over his politically incorrect willingness to defend his home and place of business from burglars.
James Walton, owner of Able Walton Machine & Welding in West Dallas, shot and killed two suspected burglars in separate incidents over a span of three weeks. As Dallas police Sergeant Gene Reyes observed:
He's got a right to defend his property. What gives a stranger the right to go in and vandalize or burglarize his business? He's within every legal right to do this.
Here's the charming Rebecca Aguilar in action, literally reducing the old guy to tears as she badgers him about being "a trigger-happy kind of person":
Small wonder journalists aren't terribly popular.

Update:
As you can see, the "Don't Be Evil" moonbats at Google took the video down. I guess it really did make liberal reporters look bad.

How long until the racists at LaRaza come to her defense?

Yes, when will her suspension be decried as a racist act by the TV station?
This was one of the more reprehensible things I have ever seen. I'm sure she sees nothing wrong, however, with her actions. Reporters only seek truth, you know!

Look on the bright side. If he were in the UK, he'd already be in prison, the politicians would be screaming that something must be done, and a Mom's Group would have been formed demanding a ban on shotguns, or possibly shops, while the Daily Mail would be yelling with headlines like BAN THESE EVIL SHOTGUNS and ORANGES MAY CAUSE CANCER.
I think shotguns are still just about legal here. Everything else is banned, even our olympic shooting team have to go abroad to practice. No joke. Never let your guvmint disarm you, people. Look across the Atlantic at our once sceptred isle, and see what you may become. And be afraid.

You white people make me sick. Do you have any idea how hard it is to stalk a 70 year old veteran? I almost let loose a big ole taco beaner fart which would have alerted Mr. Watson. My cover as a bitter criminal supporting liberal might have been exposed! Rebecca Aguillar

Don't tell me, let me guess: the burglars were Hispanic, right?

You Tube took the movie down. Go figure.

Ummmm, let's see:
veteran
Texan
proponent of the 2nd amendment
snitty reporter
Our little reporter is damn lucky she didn't encounter some other Texans I know. She would have been waiting for the proctologist to remove her microphone.

Nah, it'd be more like HOUSE PRICES TUMBLE AFTER SHOTGUN FEARS STRIKE.
... cos the Mail is obsessed with such things.

You can still catch the video on Breitbart at:
http://www.breitbart.tv/?p=6905
although you will only see it in segments in between having to suffer through some really riveting analysis by a couple of reporters who condescendingly try to explain why this is such an issue.
Looks like Mr. Walton is o.k. with Texas law, but apparently that isn't good enough for the crusading Ms. Aguilar.
The real issue here is the showing of this man's face on TV after he specifically agreed to speak to her so long as his face was NOT shown. Obviously, he is somewhat fearful for his life, but the station decided to expose him anyway.
