Dictatorship of the Disabled

The latest deep-pocket corporation to be looted by lawyers in a class action lawsuit is Target. Its crime? Allegedly the Target website isn't sufficiently accessible to the blind.

This has given me some excellent ideas for lawsuits of my own. I'll sue Hollywood for making movies that aren't accessible to the blind. Then I'll sue the music industry for producing albums that aren't accessible to the deaf. Let's see, who else has money…

There are a lot of golf courses here in Phoenix. I'll sue them for not being accessible to quadriplegics. Then I'll sue Fox News for not being accessible to moonbats.

When I'm done, I'll buy my way into the U.S. Senate. Thanks, John Edwards — you've been an inspiration!

On a tip from Bill.

I'm not blind, but I do require eyeglasses in order to read your posts, which you have yet to proved me My lawyer will be contacting you shortly.

Boy, how do you make pictures accessible to the blind?

Did they try talking to Target, or go straight to a lawyer?

No matter, won't be my money. I haven't shopped at Target since they kicked the Salvation Army out.

You know, the ACLU website is inaccessible to the blind.

Steve for images on the web you make image tags that disrcibe the pitcure. blind folk have a gizmo that reads websites. I'm with you Steve and even winning the lottery, this cripple won't buy from Target since they booted the Salvation Army.
Now it may come to a shock but some cripples have money, and they even might want to buy stuff online like a normal person. If places want blind folks business they'll make it so the blind can use the site. But shopping online isn't a right. you don't have to make it accessible ( my site isn't). So these blind folk are making the rest of us cripples look bad. But they are blind so do they really care how folk look?
(bad joke sorry)

Yeah, I know about the alt and title attributes, but still, a picture is worth a thousand words.
