Arnold Schwarzenegger: Marijuana Is Not a Drug

Sometimes liberal politicians become so intoxicated with power, they take it upon themselves to redefine reality to their subjects. Remember when we learned from Bill Clinton that fellatio isn't sex? Now Arnold Schwarzenegger informs us that marijuana is not a drug.

What is it then? Ahnold explains:

That is not a drug. It's a leaf.

Schwarzenegger says he's never taken drugs. He's smoked leaves, though — and it shows.

We know what Ah-nold is really to - he is not fooling anyone. He has built SKY NET in the basement of the governors mansion and is building an army of TERMINATORS to erase mankind from the Earth - starting with Kelly-fornia.

While its stupid for Arnold to make that claim, its equally stupid for the Federal Government to criminalize it. Again, for those that don't know, its perfectly legal to grow and smoke marijuana, if the Feds decide to give you the stamp you pay a tax to get. The government subborned the Constitution by refusing to collect those taxes. Thats the only way marijuana is illegal, is the fact its not 'taxed'.

Personally, I think the stuff smells like someone set a dog turd on fire. However, its abhorrent that the Government thinks it can tell us what we can and cannot reasonably smoke (soon to be eat) and drink. We own our bodies and should be able to do with them as is reasonable. More Conservatives should be outraged about this, but have allowed themselves to be blinded by the fact that 'weed' is connected to filthy moonbats like Hippies. You should stand up for the fact that there is nothing in the Constitution that gives the Government the power to regulate this.

Note: My statement about owning our own bodies does not, however, mean I support Abortion as that is demonstrably shown to be 'not part of our body' as its a living and growing human, not a hunk flesh that is inanimate.

i suppose the "coca leaf" is not a drug too?

HEAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!

that means the "opium poppy" is JUST a flower!

Brooklyn stated:

"should be able to do with them (our bodies) as is reasonable"

Well, that's the rub. "Reasonable" doesn't constitute being drugged up whether it be with weed or the other "flowers" as nanc so nicely pointed out. I've worked with folks who've done recreational drugs (at home) and they're downright nasty and incompetent at work when they don't have access to their stash.

Toke up duuuuuuuuuude!! Where is Mr. Hand? Can I order pizza here? Soooooooooooo mellow.

As a foster parent, I am extremely leery of drug legalization. If you look at why kids end up abused, neglected, and in foster care, drugs are the culprit 9 out of 10 times.

Arnold has "never taken drugs"?

Steroids aren't drugs?

Jimbo, Steroids are those rocks floating around in space.

Tobacco is a leaf and has been a major staple in the US market for 100's of years. The tobacco industry still has some major impact in the world.

Open your eyes to the stupidity of trying to control what someone else might enjoy. Go next door to your neighbor and ask them to stop using hot water. Inform them it is dangerous and it could even kill you if not under supervised usage.
Stupid, I know...of course there'll be those who say - oh it's not the same - I know many of those stupid people.

Before the sixties, "maryjawanna" was used rarely, mostly by artists and musicians. Cowboys and farmers were known to smoak/chew "locoweed", but only when they couldn't get REAL tobacco. (My father said he once smoked "rabbit tobacco" durring the Depression, which is something else, not MJ)
The problem --in my oppinion-- is that it became a FAD. Once something becomes a fad, it goes straight to hell.

Once something becomes a fad, it goes straight to hell.

Yea and it only became a fad cause the Hippies knew it was 'breaking the law' to do so. As for giving it to kids, I am not advocating that. Like tobacco and alchohol, its for adult consumption (though I also think its dumb that you have to be 21 to drink when you can join the Army at 18). Do people who abuse it end up fragged, you betcha. Just like people who abuse alchohol. Just like people who abuse gambling. Just like people who abuse sex.

However, where is it in the Constitution that the Government can regulate what you do? You have the in-born right to do as you damn well please as long as it does not affect others.

I wanna like Arnie - I *really* do - he's "The Terminator" after all! ;) But him continually leaning to the left while pretending to be a conservative makes it harder and harder. :(
