Apple Sued for Cutting Prices
Cutting prices can be added to the many things corporations may not do unless they want to risk a lawsuit. Dongmei Li of Queens is suing Apple for $1 million for lowering the price of the 8-gig iPhone by $200.
Apple refunded the $200 difference to anyone buying one of the phones within two weeks of the price cut, and $100 to anyone who bought one earlier, but that's not enough for Ms. Li.
Unfortunately it's doubtful that moonbat-infested Apple will learn its lesson and stop supporting the trial lawyers party.

On a tip from Wiggins.

Uh... so now that basic of the free market, that sellers may set the price, and it's up to the buyer to decide *at the moment of purchase* whether that is a fair price, is unfair, is it? And that other basic of capitalism- that popular products get cheaper, thus more people can enjoy them- that's evil is it?
Wow.

So what happens to all the people who bought computers and flat screen TV's at much higher prices last year? Do they all get money back because the price went down?
The only people who wasted days in line at Apple stores waiting for the Iphone were a bunch of techo-geeks. Now they are mad? Too bad.

So if someday the iPhone becomes obsolete, will purchasers get a full refund on the premise that since no one can buy it anymore they shouldn't have had to fork out the amount of money they did? Just wondering.

I've just thought of an entertaining lawsuit.
You see, I went to a state school. While there, I was taught a biased, anti-capitalist curriculum, especially in subjects such as history. As a result of this, I left school distrustful of the free market and failed to prosper financially, since I had been actively discouraged from pursuing my own enlightened self interest. I therefore think it's entirely reasonable to blame the education system for my lack of wealth. I would estimate that the amount of money I've failed to earn is at least several millions pounds sterling; earnings which were lost as a direct consequence of the school's intervention in my understanding of economics and the free market. I will be content with damages amounting to just the first 10 million. I'm not greedy.
Anybody care to join a class action? I think we can clean up on this one. Oh, and end the socialist hegemony in the schools, also.
Hehe.

Heres a lawsuit that actually doesnt go totally overboard asking for millions. Suing for $100 plus court costs over Walmart refusal to correct a sales tax issue. A Moonbat would have sued for $100,000,000.
