$11.6 Million for "Harassment"

Divide $11.6 million by how much you make an hour. The result is how long you would have to toil to earn as much as our psychotic legal system plans to expropriate from Madison Square Garden and its chairman James Dolan on behalf of a parasite named Anucha Browne Sanders, because she claims she experienced "harassment."

Apparently New York Knicks coach Isiah Thomas once tried to kiss her, justifying the massive transfer of wealth.

In a world poisoned by moonbattery, the concept of honest work is meaningless. Only a sucker would labor for a few bucks when the real money is handed out for free to whiners.

A society without just courts will not prosper. Our courts are more morally depraved than most criminals.

If she was fired because she reported being sexually harrassed then the most she should get is maybe 2 times her lost pay and get her job back. Not $11.6 million - thats just plain ridiculous.

This is appalling. Our legal system is inventing new offenses by the minute. According to the linked article, Madison Square Garden was found guilty of "allowing a hostile work environment." What law does one break by "allowing"? Answer: The law that a judge just concocted on the spur of the moment.

You are absolutely right, this is nothing less than depraved.

$11.6 Million for "Harassment" is insane. Why in the hell should this woman be disgustingly rich because she was harassed. Yes, she should get her job back (it was wrongful termination), and she should get a couple hundred thousand MAYBE for the trouble, and she should have all the court costs paid for. But 11.6 million?? INSANE! If they want to send a message and dish out punitive damages, then send the money to the Red Cross or something like that. The only message that they are delivering to America is to be on the look out for a reason to sue someone so that you too can hit the lottery and be set for life.

i wonder for what length of time she was "harassed"?

perhaps she'll go spend the money well - by battling crappers who use the terms "b*tch" and "ho" without a care?

The article doesnt mention she was fired and thats the real reason she is suing. Even so, she probably didnt make much more than $100,000/year. So the most I would give her is $300,000 for 3 years lost pay plus another $300,000 and money for legal expenses and her original demand for her job back. $11.6 million is totally absurd. After getting nearly $12 million I think she dropped that demand for reinstatement to her old job.
