Wrong Way Flanagan
Foolishly taking global warming propaganda at face value, British yachtsman Adrian Flanagan thought he ought to be able to make the first solo Arctic sea passage across northern Russia. After all, the ice is melting, right?
Wrong. Flanagan has been stopped by ice, and wants Russia to send a nuclear-powered icebreaker to carry his boat off to safety.
His own safety ought to be his first concern. Polar bears, supposedly endangered by global warming, are one of the very few species that will hunt down and kill human beings for food, which probably explains their immense popularity among environmentalists. Flanagan has been warned that the area where he's anchored is crawling with them.
Flanagan's wife describes his mood as "pretty fed-up." The same could be said for everyone else who has come to realize that global warming is a crock.

Update: Louise Flanagan denies that the expedition had anything to do with a belief in global warming. My apologies if this story was based on faulty information.

Its hard to feel pitty for clown like this. Maybe the Polar Bear will eat off his left arm and right leg only. Giving him the rest of his life to think about what a moron he is.

What an asshat! The Russians should throw him in prison for a few months as a spy. Tattoo ASSHAT (complete with picture of an ass with a top hat on it) on his forehead then trade him back to the Brits for 1000 orders of Bangers and Mash.

Hmmm....wonder when we'll be treated to The Polar Bear Man detailing Flanagan's final moments before become bear chow. What a dipshit. He'll get what he deserves if he gets mauled by one of Mother Nature's top predators. He'll learn the hard way what the Inuit have known for centuries.
