Red Cross Provides Support for Racist Jena 6 Marchers

It seems that all's fair in love and moonbattery — even things that are unfair in war. Snopes confirms that the Red Cross has been supplying marchers in Jena, Louisiana with supplies.

The very symbol of the Red Cross signifies political neutrality, protecting its vehicles from attack in wartime. The organization is there to provide disaster relief, not to take sides.

But this doesn't apply in Jena, to which anti-Caucasian demagogue Jesse Jackson summoned an army of cockroaches to swarm over the town in protest not against six black thugs for beating a lone white guy unconscious and leaving him for dead, but against the authorities for arresting them.

Bottled water for troublemaking moonbats bused in from Detroit was paid for using "existing disaster relief funds," per the Red Cross itself — although in an astonishing display of gall, it has asked Louisiana taxpayers for reimbursement.

There isn't much left that moonbattery hasn't corrupted.

The Red Cross has been off my "Give To List" for quite some time now.

Why do they feel the need to protect racist thugs in the name of fighting racism?

This is bizarre...

If there are supposedly so many instances of judicial racism, why are they having such a hard time finding a real example? Last year was the Duke 3, what will they think up for next year?

I stopped giving the children that run the Red Cross anything in 1970. Not a dime since or ever.

I did have a sizable check written to help during Katrina and up popped Je$$ie and $harpton the two biggest racist in the country and in the trash in small pieces went the check. I'm still watching the LCD TV I bought with the money.

"The Red Cross used existing disaster relief funds to pay for these services. However, we have asked the state of Louisiana to reimburse the Red Cross for the expenses incurred in Jena."

Criminy. If they went in at the get-go seeking reimbursement, they should NEVER have gone to begin with. The Red Cross (Red Crescent, Red Lion of Iran etc.) certainly have had their share of controversy over the years but this is crazy. Is ok though. The American RC is fighting a frivolous lawsuit from Johnson & Johnson over the use of the red cross as a logo. That alone is enough to drive them nuts.

The Red Cross was aiding the Communist Revolution in 1917. And this story surprises you? Please.

The protesters pre-planned and notified the town they would not do business with the local businesses. They instructed their protesters not to do business with the town. It was therefore the organizers of the demonstration's responsibility to provide needed food, water and care. This political action should not have been subsidized by the 'humanitarian' American Red Cross, a not for profit organization. Or with funds donated by the American people for non-political emergency humanitarian aid. It should also not be supported by the government as the red cross has asked for reimbursement from the State of Louisiana.

The organizers knew in advance that the infrastructure of this small town could not handle their protesters and exacerbated the problem by instructing their protesters to not do business with the town. The red cross is to provide for disasters not provide advance support for a political action. This was not an 'emergency' therefore they should not have used our money in this manner.
