"Path to 9/11" DVD Suppressed?
A little foretaste of life under the Shrillary regime:
Remember the miniseries "Path to 9/11," which made Slick Willie's fans blow a gasket because it refused to pretend he was as interested in catching bin Laden as he was in molesting interns? Its DVD release is on indefinite hold — apparently because the Hillary camp doesn't want it out.
As La Times reports:
With no date for the release, questions are being raised about whether political pressure is behind its current status as a stalled or discarded DVD project. The reasons are murky, but the miniseries' writer, Cyrus Nowrasteh, believes it's crystal clear: Powerful forces are out to protect Bill Clinton's presidential legacy and shield Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) from any potential collateral damage in her bid for the White House.
The miniseries received seven Emmy nominations and drew 25 million viewers in two nights, so it isn't for lack of interest that we can't get the DVD.
Nowrasteh has received death threats for not whitewashing Clinton's irresponsibility. He warns:
Whatever anyone may think about me or this movie, this is a bad precedent, a dangerous precedent, to allow a movie to be buried. Because the next time they'll go after another movie. The Bush administration may go after a movie. The next administration may go after a movie. No matter who it is, they may go after a movie. I think this town needs to stand up.
As unlikely as it is that Bush would try to dictate to Hollywood, it's more unlikely still that the town will grow a spine. Tinseltown will find it much easier just to suppress anything that Queen Shrillary wouldn't like.
Even leftist Oliver Stone seems to understand the implications:
This is a shame; it's censorship in the most blatant way. I'm not vouching for its accuracy — it's a dramatization — but it's an important work and needs to be seen.
As you'll recall, unscrupulous Democrat heavyweights like Harry Reid leaned heavily on ABC when the miniseries was first made, even threatening to pull ABC's broadcast license. They weren't quite able to kill the project, but did force revisions.
Given the climate in Hollyweird, it's a miracle the miniseries was made at all — the sort of miracle that isn't likely to be repeated.

If any Republican had threatened to pull the licence of just one station for just one program, the liberals would be screaming about the ressurection of the Third Reich. When Senator Reid threatens to silence an entire network, we hear nothing.

i have written to jamie glazov - recommending this video be offered free through frontpage mag - shipping and handling only - i don't think they'd be violating any rules although i haven't thoroughly checked it out. i taped it when it was on and if i recall it had no commercials.

It's a fantastic movie. It could have gone to the theaters next.

That scum Bill Clinton didn't send Sandy Berger to pilfer the National Archives for no reason- hence, their hatred for this movie. The Clintons and their entourage belong in federal penitentiaries.

Sorry I missed this flick. When it comes out (legal or not),
I want it.
