Now Global Warming Causes Heart Attacks

Still not taking global warming seriously? How about this: it could cause… it could cause… it could cause heart attacks! That's the ticket! Forsake your modern ways or climate change will make your heart stop ticking!

The reasoning goes like this:

In higher temperatures, we sweat to get rid of heat. During that process, blood is sent to the skin where temperatures are cooler, which opens up the blood vessels. In turn, the heart rate rises and blood pressure drops. That combination can be dangerous for older people and those with weakened cardiovascular systems.

This explains why when people start to get older, they leave Florida for the nice cool Northeast.

On a tip from Byron.

Oh no! And the temperature's risen, umm..., the temperature's risen... the temperature's gone up how much? Statistically, globally, within a comfortable margin of statistical error, a half degree Celsius?

How many extra heart attacks are there in Pheonix?

If folks are having a coronary over the heat it's because they're in ac 23 hrs. a day and can't handle the one hour they're exposed to heat. Also, carrying around 50 extra pounds around the middle doesn't help in hot weather. "Global warming" has nothing to do with fat, out of shape ac-acclimated people dropping dead.

Actually this makes sense...I wonder if it was a warm planetary climate that killed off the dinosaurs. Think about...it was probably hot & humid, and those creatures are quite large.

Climate conditions/temperature probably reached a level where the dinosaurs all croaked.

My science degree is paying off!
