MSM Discovers Maniacal Killer Che Guevara's "Dark Side"
Not everybody worships Che Guevara, patron saint of moonbats who would really like to kill somebody. The Australian is open-minded enough to acknowledge The Hidden Face of Che, by escaped Cuban Jacobo Machover:
A romantic hero to legions of fans the world over, Ernesto "Che" Guevara, the poster boy of Marxist revolution, has come under assault as a cold-hearted monster four decades after his death in the Bolivian jungle.
A revisionist biography has highlighted Guevara's involvement in countless executions of "traitors" and counter-revolutionary "worms", offering a new glimpse of the dark side of the guerilla fighter who helped Fidel Castro seize power in Cuba.
The "dark side" of Che? As opposed to the light side?
A little background, from another escaped Cuban, Humberto Fontova:
Guevara was no more the brains of the Cuban Revolution than Cheka-head Felix Drezhinsky had been the brains of the Bolshevik Revolution, or Gestapo chief Himmler the brains of the National Socialist Revolution, or KGB head Beria the brains behind Stalinism. In fact Che performed the same role for Fidel Castro as Drezhinsky performed for Lenin, Himmler for Hitler and Beria for Stalin. Che Guevara was the Castro regime's chief executioner.
Guevara reportedly boasted of killing "several thousand" just during the first year of Castro's nightmarish regime. Below are a few Che quotes that illustrate his progressive wisdom.
Dismissing the objections of a colleague who understood the importance of trials and proof:
Go ahead and try them tomorrow morning — but execute them NOW!
From his Motorcycle Diaries, which acolyte Robert Redford managed to edit into a cinematic hagiography:
Crazy with fury I will stain my rifle red while slaughtering any enemy that falls in my hands! My nostrils dilate while savoring the acrid odor of gunpowder and blood. With the deaths of my enemies I prepare my being for the sacred fight and join the triumphant proletariat with a bestial howl!
Instructing his Revolutionary Tribunals:
We don't need proof to execute a man. We only need proof that it's necessary to execute him. A revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate.
From a letter to his father:
I'd like to confess, papa, at that moment I discovered that I really like killing.
Summing up socialism, after describing how he shot some poor helpless guy in the head at point-blank range:
He went into convulsions for a while and was finally still. Now his belongings were mine.
To a 14-year-old boy, just before he personally blew the kid's brains out for trying to defend his father, who was also executed:
I said: KNEEL DOWN!
(The kid wouldn't kneel and had to be murdered standing up.)
That they would make a icon out of this fiend tells you all you need to know about progressives.
