Moonbat Demonstration Flops
With marching orders from the communist front group ANSWER, moonbats converged on the capital yesterday, hellbent on changing the world. Fortunately they failed miserably.
But they did manage to provide a little outré entertainment. Age of Hooper has video, plus still pics including these gems:

Fortunately not everyone in DC was a moonbat. The Gathering of Eagles mounted a significant presence; see the first-hand report at Blogmeister USA.

When I was a little boy, back in the 70s, I remember watching a protest march on TV with my Dad. I remember Dad saying, "Isn't it funny how all those people got the day off from work all on the same day?"
"What do you mean Dad?," (I was 10 at the time).
"Phil, if wanted to go to Washington to protest something, I would have to take off from work to do it, right?"
"Yeah."
"Well, do you think the company would allow me to do that, take a couple of days off for a protest?"
"But, thats your right!"
"Yes, I have a right to protest, but that doesn't mean I have a right for the job to still be there when I come back. You see Phil, these people, these protesters, don't work. They probably don't have jobs. They're bums. They have nothing better to do than run around and raise hell."
PS: I watched part of the protest on TV. You know, after all these years, I had never heard Cindy Sheehan speak. She sounds as bad as she looks, if such a thing is possible.
