Lincoln Chafee Leaves Republican Party

What a surprise: Lincoln Chafee, former Rhode Island Senator and shameless RINO, is no longer a Republican.

Chafee often sided with Dems on key issues, and was enough of a moonbat to oppose the confirmation of John Bolton as UN Ambassador, after the national Republican Party supported him against conservative challenger Stephen Laffey in 2006, on the grounds that a liberal posing as a conservative would be more electable in the People's Republic of New England. This foolishness was justly rewarded when Democrat Sheldon Whitehouse took Chafing's seat.

Now if we can just get rid of John Warner, Schmuck Hagel, Olympia Snowe, Mel Martinez, Lindsey Grahamnesty, Lettuce McCain, et al., maybe we can restore enough integrity to the party to win some elections.

Stinkin' Chafee smiles for the cameras.

On a tip from Wiggins.

In other news, the Red Arrows (the British version of the Blue Angels) will not be allowed to perform an aerial display during the 2012 Olympics in London because they are..... too British (!) and it might offend other nations.

If I had my 'druthers, John Bolton would be President.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. If we're lucky this will become a trend and we can have a 2 party system again.

And if the RNSC under the incompetent management of Liz Dole hadn't wasted millions of dollars on Linc Chaffee, maybe they could have saved Jim Talent in Missouri and Conrad Burns in Montana... and their Senate majority.

You don't mention Oregon Senator Gordon Smith?

Again, Oregon is snubbed.

This was one list I thought we could make.

Darn.

When the going gets tough, away he goes.

Good riddance to this clown!

He was also the only Republican to vote against confirming Justice Samuel Alito to the US Supreme Court

Clown indeed. We are well rid of him. And supposedly Hagel is not running for re-election. Even if a Dem gets the seat, we won't be any worse off.

Hmmm...Jim has a great idea: Bolton for president!

He finally did something to improve the Party!

Well V the K, what did you expect? Libby's married to Viagra-man.
She comes by her incompetence honestly since the GOP felt they owed Bob the Rep nomination way back when against Clinton. Remember? My dead grannie would have gotten more votes than Dole. So that's twice America's gotten screwed by the Doles...first Bob's pathetic nomination, second, Libby's political dunce act. And they didn't even need an ED drug to ram it to us.

Wait a minute! You mean the missing linc was a Republican? Who'da thunk it! You sure would'nt know it from his voting record.
