Dutch Name Deemed Offensive by DMV
Mike and Shelly Udink and their son Kalei have vanity license plates reading UDINK1 UDINK2, and UDINK3. But then Kawika Udink's application for UDINK4 was rejected, and now the state of Oregon wants the other plates returned.
It seems their Dutch name might be read as "You dink." The various meanings of the word "dink" include a sexual reference and, worse still, a racial slur against Vietnamese.
So far the Udinks have not been ordered to change their name.

Dennis Kucinich. Another weirdo with bad hair and even worse ideas. I think some low level leftist state bureaucrat is upset because the Udinks have four vehicles. And Mike Udink works for a power company. Yvonne Bell should be investigated. Ten bucks says she has funky hair.
