DU Moonbats Stick Up for Mad Mahmoud

Once again we see that hostility to America trumps all else for moonbats. No one could be more adamantly opposed to everything liberals claim to believe in than Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. But since he hates America, they're willing to propagandize on his behalf. Check out some of these howlers from a piece at Democratic Underground:

[Ahmadinejad] is an elected President, not a Dictator.
[Mad Mahmoud's potentially genocidal anti-Semitism is a] vicious cycle of hatred for which both sides bear the responsibility (Israelis, and Arab/Muslims).
[Oil mega-exporter] Iran has a legitimate need for electrical power. Nuclear is a logical step for them that avoids turning horrible pollution (already) in cities like Tehran into an even worse nightmare.
Islam itself was very progressive in its view of women[…]
Peaceful dialog is ultimately what is needed here… Bush should have met him at ground zero with the hand of peace[…]

The first reader comment:

Carter would have met him.

For once, I agree with a moonbat. Carter probably would have — right at Ground Zero too, to the delight of moonbats and Islamic terrorists all around the world.

Carter has no aversion to meeting with terrorists.

On a tip from Cheetah.

Those people are so ignorant, either wilfully or otherwise.

Carter has the reverse midas touch. Carter said last week Iran would not attack Isreal. Since we know Jimmy is always wrong, I expect a confrontation between Iran and Isreal within 6 months.
